Hey all, long time no see!
I haven't played Star Wars Battlefront in so long, it seems like it was forever ago. I'm cheered to see actual activity is going on on the site while I'm gone! I thought everyone had forgotten this game; I miss it so much.Anyhow, the reason I haven't played in so long is that when I updated to OS X 7 on my new Mac Book Pro, SWBF no longer functions properly! Some Rosetta deal I think. To get to the point I'm pretty sure no one has made any updates for the game because it's so "old."
My reason for posting is this: does anyone know how to play SWBF 1 on a Mac running Lion? Any way to port it over from Windows and still play multiplayer? Any hidden updates or wineskin wrappers that would allow a deprived individual such as myself to play SWBF again? Mostly I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a port for the windows version of SWBF or an alternate way of playing it. Thanks
CT

Hey guys I got the new MBP 15" 2.2 ghz and man, is it nice. I can't seem to figure out how to install SWBF on it again! Wasn't there a patch or something you had to download to install the game? I haven't done this for so long I forgot everything. Could I have a link to the patch download or what not? Its still on Snow Leopard btw (10.6.7)

There's this retro-type game called Vector Conflict: The Siege (which I almost always spell wrong) and basically you're in command of... I'll copy and paste the description:
"Description: Vector Conflict is anintense 3D shooter set in a bleak, post-apocalyptic retro world. You are in control of the defensive systems for the vast SOTER underground bunker. You are the last line of defense for the survivors taking refuge below – protect them at all costs."
It's really cool and free to play online any site (singleplayer game) play it!

for anyone here who plays the standard Age of Empires III game for MAC, I have a way to get a 50 card deck and unlock all the cards, along with changing your level at will. There is an attachment below I think, though I don't know how swbfgamers does their attachment doo-hickies. Can someone tell Czar ( /LXV\ 's leader) it's posted here? Ty

We Americans live in a nation where the medical-care system is second to none in the world, unless you count maybe 25 or 30 little scuzzball countries like Scotland that we could vaporize in seconds if we felt like it. - Dave Barry
The only thing that scares me more than space aliens is the idea that there aren't any space aliens. We can't be the best that creation has to offer. I pray we're not all there is. If so, we're in big trouble. - Ellen DeGeneres
When I came back to Dublin I was courtmartialed in my absence and sentenced to death in my absence, so I said they could shoot me in my absence. - Brendan Behan
Powerful stuff. (I like the first one) Post your fun quotes below. In fact, any quotes you like.

ok guys so I've had a rocketfish USB mouse (yes, with a cord) and its been great, but i can the connection wire is a bit frayed near where it plugs into the computer, and unfortunately that is prohibiting the left click button from working which sucks and about 1/5 of the time it just stops moving on the screen. It's really a good mouse, but again the wire is dying. Do yall have any good mouse recommendations? And I want a WIRE one, not wireless. I like my wires, less complicated. Plus, my computer is ancient and no doubt lacks any fancy bluetooth technology, as when i click on info and click on bluetooth, it says no information found. Go figure. Anyways, what mouses (mices) do yall use that use wires??
