Hi just a quick two quetions if anyone can help; first does anyone know of any free software to open .RAR files and also im currently using 1.2 (best of p.c. disc) and was wondering if there was any advantages/disadantages in upgrading to 1.3. Thanks.

You need to copy the files you downloaded to the addon folder. For me it's: my computer - hdd (hard drive) - program files - lucasarts - battlefront - game data - addons (it might have a folder called tat3 in it). I usually just drag from one window to the other. Then you just start the game and the maps should be there.

I don't want to state the obvious but are you logged in when you look for the downloads. If you can download them but not use them maybe you need a program like 7zip (its free).

Hi I just downloaded the PLA mod map night files but i can't move them to the add on folder or acess them (even the readme) the only option that shows up is 'extract all' but when i try this it says acess to compressed (zipped) folders is denied and that i need to change permissions. I've had this problem with some other map downloads. I'm using vista and have 7-zip if this is needed.
Any help would be appreciated.
