Well, i tried and edited the end1a.lua & end1a_h.lua files, but it doesnt work : i mean when the map is loading, the game crashes...

well, you need to provide more details about what you did--did you munge the file, properly?  put in the new mission.lvl file properly, what exactly did you do ?

The file that I attached to my original post DOES work.

The HOST must have the file in order for there to not be any vehicles.

If ONLY YOU have the file, and the HOST does not, you will crash, as explained earlier.

Peeking at the battlefront dedicated server exe file will allow you to find some switches like
/invincible
/unlimittedammo

Here are others that work:

/logfinalscore

the output is in a file called finalscore.log that looks like:
07/20/10 20:19:49   bes2a   137   Kill   REB@14    0   EMP@14    14
07/20/10 20:22:28   bes2a   151   Kill   REB@14    0   EMP@14    12

here the empire won two matches, first at 14-0 and the second at 12-0

/log

make many log files during a game very quickly filled with this debug output:

.\Source\LuaCallbacks_Mission.cpp(195) :  [ERROR]Lua ReadDataFile: Could not open sound\shell.lvl
.\Graphics\Pc\pcRedSegment.cpp(314) :  [ERROR]pcShaderSegment: shader Normal [0xe68b9c52] doesn't support vertexformat [d222]!

Lol. yes this mod works, but a more effective way is hex editing the end1.lvl itself. That way there are no crashes. just remove all vehicle_spawns.

The host would still need to have the file.

The easiest way would be using Battlebelks Mission tool:
http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=319

Find the Endor script LUA file:

Change this:

   ReadDataFile("SIDE\\all.lvl",
        "all_inf_basicjungle",
        "all_inf_lukeskywalker",
        "all_inf_smuggler");
    ReadDataFile("SIDE\\imp.lvl",
        "imp_hover_speederbike",
        "imp_inf_basic",
        "imp_inf_dark_trooper",
        "imp_inf_darthvader",
        "imp_walk_atst_jungle");
    ReadDataFile("SIDE\\ewk.lvl",
        "all_end_music",
        "ewk_inf_basic")

to

    ReadDataFile("SIDE\\all.lvl",
        "all_inf_basicjungle",
        "all_inf_lukeskywalker",
        "all_inf_smuggler");
    ReadDataFile("SIDE\\imp.lvl",
         "imp_inf_basic",
        "imp_inf_dark_trooper",
        "imp_inf_darthvader");
    ReadDataFile("SIDE\\ewk.lvl",
        "all_end_music",
        "ewk_inf_basic")

munge; replace the stock mission.lvl tool with the new mission.lvl tool.

I have done this for endor only, and have attached it to this post.

Note that the HOST must have this file in order for it to work, but the players DO NOT have to have this file.

If you play with this file and the host DOES NOT have it, you will crash.

The post before your said it wasn't a serious topic.  Also, its a couple of years old.  I would bet there have been a few versions of firefox since then.

Sounds like you need to use a different proxy server, if you need one at all.

That's a nice find.  I could not find a direct link from the LucasArts downloads section.

I would caution against scanning and posting the guide though, as it states in that downloadable chapter that it can only be done with permission of LucasArts.

Looks like used copies go for about $4 shipped.

Hmm... i think 7pm Berlin time is better, its 1pm EST, wich day do you want to play

OK, at that time, it would need to be on Sat or Sunday.  I will check with my teammate, and you can check with yours.  (I think he is a Mac, so it would be by dirct connection).

#5816
OK, can we play on this week, perhaps at 8 pm eastern us time?

#5817
It depends on your ISP.  If you have DSL, then that is probably maxed out.  If you have cable, then you may want to get a new cable modem, if its more than a couple of years old--but that may or may not help.

If you are using a wireless connection, there can be things that can be done to help.

Tell us what your ISP is.

skirata, do you mean making holes in things?   It is possible to make destructable buildings, but I think that these would have to be at predetermined locations.
