FireFox. The UI is very easy to use, and all parts of the browser are created equal (except for the renderer). The entire frame (as in url bar, status bar, menus, etc.) are written in XML and JavaScript, which means that extensions to the browser can be just as powerful as the browser itself. I actually run one extension that lets it render a page as if it was Internet Explorer.

You can edit Firefox in the about:config in the URL so you can boost the speed of your internet. Talk to Thomas about it. He'll help you.

as with what mac said, about:config can control any setting that firefox uses. Very powerful

btw: for any FF users try going to about:robots and about:mozilla

I use Firefox, but Safari is good too.

Both are Good, however FireFox tends to have better and more reliable updates, better skins and features and in general it is faster.

Also more secure.
