is there a ini fix for the water bug on displays above 1080p ?

is there a fix other than changing water detail to low that would allow me to play on water maps without the purple water bug ?
mods and maps in progress:<br />--Bf1 expanded edition 3.0 version
-- bf1 tcw battles
-- bf1 seasons mod season 1
