How to localize SWBF2?

Hi there!

I'm trying to localize SWBF2 into Portuguese and have already downloaded BF2 Mod Tools from here, but I don't know how to do it. I don't intend on adding anyting new to the game, I just wish to fully translate it as it is. I could acess the texts on MultiLanguageTool through editlocalize.bat, but the batch files from data\_BUILD\Common didn't show me any results. Could someone please give me a step by step on how to do that?
