Hi Led
Sorry about the photos. I have attached them here. The screenshot 5 shows my file structure. When I replace the Battlefront.exe with the BattlefrontSWBFSpy.exe my game won't start-up.
Thanks

HOSTS file edit should work the same on Mac as it does on PC - I believe I've done it on Linux before and it's the same idea.

If you ping swbfspy.com it will give you the IP address.

This page is exactly what I've done on Linux except I've never done the DNS flush before.  https://www.imore.com/how-edit-your-macs-hosts-file-and-why-you-would-want

edit: Transgaming may have an issue running modified exes?  I'm not sure why it wouldn't start up at all.  That's very strange.

'Please, tell me more about the logistics of the design of laser swords being wielded by space wizards' - Some guy on the internet.

So let's start with the easy steps first:

Please download this file:
http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1385

and rename your current battlefront.exe to original.exe, then rename this download to Battlefront.exe and put it in the same place as the current one.

If that does not work, we will try the hosts file method.
