to be able to use freecam on the swbf2 ps2 we need to hex edit the
COMMON.LVL using program HxD
from the game dvd placed into your dvd drive navagate to 2_01/DATA/_LVL_PS2  folder and copy COMMON.LVL onto your desktop for editing. load up your common.lvl just copied onto your desktop into HxD for edit. under the search header click it and find goto and click it.
in the box type 00013720
we are looking for freecam to change to console

66 72 65 65 63 61 6D = freecam
change to
63 6F 6E 73 6F 6C 65 = console


after making the change click file save your work. now your common file
is ready to be compiled into a new iso replacing the old one.

button usage in freecam
R1 up
L1 down
L3 forward backward left right
R3 *look* left right up down
DPAD  up: faster cam speed   down: slower cam speed

just tested swbf1 on windows 10 played a few maps it is really good :tu: made a vid for it

looking to remove the locals/tanks also when players go away from the server ai start spawning on the team set for 0 ai. using BattleBelkToolbox to make the mission.lvl.

the patch downloads on this site have solved Majesty's Unknown Error windows message while trying to update the game. after much testing and working with the development team at gamemaster the ps2 swbf1 no patch server can now be used again via gamemaster. make a new network profile on your ps2 called gamemaster. set dns 1: to 5.230.233.61
set dns 2: to 000.000.000.000 here is my vid example for the ps2 network startup disc
if you want to run your own server. it has been updated and ready to go using gamemaster eu. no need to install it just extract the zip folder on your pc desktop or on a hard drive. use the batch file *tweak to your liking* to start the server. if windows firewall pops up allow the rule. forward port 3658 udp on your router. run the missingfilesetup*included in the server folder download* if server does not start up. server download: https://mega.co.nz/#!KY5h2bBZ!tNLWoGNOwZO47Bh6wcY_pIfvV2OchzTZuyY2BUmXZmE this server is updated for fast spawn.
there are problems with ps2 players not being able to join there own servers using one router. i got around this problem while testing by doing the following. run a bunch of dummy servers with the batch file. example is: run one server. port 3658,run the batch file again 3659, run the batch file again 3660 and again 3661etc etc, until you have run the server with port 3666 open. now close all the dummy servers you open and leave open the ones that have ports forward enabled. this will let your ps2 on the same router have ports 3658/3659 free and clear .*using active ports program can help with this*. i made ports 3666 3667 3668 udp open on my router*for server program*. may 9 2015 made some updates and fixed the hoth crashing ps2 map here is the updated link https://mega.co.nz/#!KY5h2bBZ!tNLWoGNOwZO47Bh6wcY_pIfvV2OchzTZuyY2BUmXZmE

found a way to make ads not load during tunngle start up

open your network hardware page. start/control panel/system. click the harware tab click device manager. find network adapters expand it.
disable your ethernet controller. start tunngle. when the red bar(down near the login button) reach near the end of loading enable your ethernet controller.
ads will not load now and other ports to your computer will not open only the ports needed to play. minimize tunngle to your toolbar do not bring it back up until done playing or *ads will load after time*.
in this vid there shows normal tunngle startup how many ports open when ads contact your pc.
