Hi MPCgamers,

The Perfect Little Angles (PLA) would like to invite you to an Ord Mantell appreciation night

Well, this is what the manual says:

"Reinforcements are deployed accordinging to a reinforcement timer.  For single players games , there is no timer and you can deploy immediately after dying.  For multiplayer games, the reinforcement timer varies with the map.  The reinforcement timer counts down from ten to fifteen seconds; when it reaches zero, reinforcements are deployed for both teams.  In other words, if you die in a multiplayer game, you will have to wait between one to fifteen seconds before you redeploy at a friendly Command Post."


That said, I'm not sure that's how it really works  ;)

Well, try it without noframelock and see :)

I use fraps and have no trouble, though i do not use the noframelock command.

Fraps also has a lot of settings for resolution, you may also try to cut those down too.

This has happened to me when my game disk was dusty.

Try cleaning it, then relaunch.

I can't say for certain what the issue is, but you may want to try updating your video driver, adjusting your video settings (turn the LOD to a moderate setting), and maybe adjusting your game resolution.

For me, I now use xfire to make screen shots.

Requests / Request: Cloud City cp Mod

Hi MPC'ers

I have examined Battlebelks cloud city mods, and they are great, but I am hoping to get a slight variation on it.

My request:

Cloud City
-Rebels get Rear Ent, Rear Flank, and Courtyard all non-capturable
-Empire gets Forward Flank, Walkway, Chamber all non-capturable

and, if it is not too much trouble:

-Clones get Rear Ent, Rear Flank, and Chamber all non-capturable
-CIS gets Forward Flank, Walkway, Courtyard all non-capturable

I can not say for certain, but I suspect that ESL contracted with him to produce those mods for the ESL tournaments.

Well, there are still about 350 xfire users per week that play the game:

And I am sure there are other that dont have xfire. 

But yes, it has gone down a lot.  But there are 150 or so at any given time on the weekend, and about 50 per week night, US time.

Yes, I would like the either one or both of those.  I can get it from you by xfire, or if you want to upload it here.

On a related note, is it possible to create a server side mod where the spawn location is somewhere else on the map?  --like selecting the rear flank, and spawning at the courtyard fountain ?

I understand that there is a server side-mod map of cloud city with un-capturale CP's.  (Battlebelk maybe?)

Jon, your ping was 120.

If you lag with that ping, it has nothing to do with the server--that means it is fixable by doing things on your end.
