Hey guys i did some examination of the SWBF3 files and with the help of scripts from Wobble (Who should really be getting the credit cuz without his script i'd be screwed) i found some cool assets i thought you guys could make use of!!! ^u^
I've no idea how to mod so these are in OBJ, hope u like them!

Omg please can you get more.I would love to get the tatooine buildings.Do you think its possible to get them diretly from the leaked pre alpha of the game,or to simply tell us how to do it on our own if possible?AMAZING!

Yes i can give it  a shot i have a copy of the pre-alpha build and a program that can convert the files so i can tell u how to do it if u want?

To be honest the ships interiors with the textures apply to them would be nice to make them in your future releases since they are the most complex thing for texturing from the collision (untextured) models we get.Also i just want to say that i know about the stuff that happened in facepunch.I downloaded the collisions for the released planets and especially the Tatooine ones and i remake them in my own way.You can look them if you want.

Im working on a release with a bunch of characters who Corra_Ashu never released, mostly a bunch of wookies and a load of other alien characters :)

Because there was going to be a Wii version of the game too.

I'd love the Hoth map items. I could use them to revamp the stock Hoth Map.

and ill try for dantooine and dathomir, personally dathomir would be sick to have as a map in SWBF2 so ill definitley get into that if i can : )))

Two things
1. Does a hair/cloth element have to be a separate vertex group to work with SWBF2's cloth system or can i make the mesh all a single group for a character model of course?
2. with cato neomoidia i can try and look into it i know the map has been released already without textures (see the maps link i posted 12 posts up) but i can try and find the separate meshes for it!

Also Just a quick update on map props itll be about a week but im gonna release a bunch of props the problem that i and Ginev have been having with texturing them is the state of the UV mapping but i'm gonna be repairing the UV maps and releasing some more stuff later this week, some peices from echo base, some ship internals and if i get around to it some props from dantooine and dathomir :)

I agree! Sparse though that may look in the modeler, once you put that in a map, it won't look so sparse!

Any chance you are able to pull out some Bespin textures? I'd love to make a map based on the Processing Vane and Battlefront 3 had the areas inside that Processing Vane.

Hey Guys! So not really SWBF3 Related but i wanted to post up this character model from the now defunct Clone Wars Adventures Game, i T-Posed it as it was originally arms at side and i figure it could be a good clone wars era villan :)
Its called C-21 Highsinger, a bounty hunter bot that personally i think is much cooler than IG-88 and is based on a character of the same name planned as a companion for the protagonist of Star Wars 1313:

I'm having an issue with one of the planet map models, I try to make my own UVs for Cato Neimoidia, but for some reason the obj model turns yellow in XSI & won't let me apply textures to it :/ Do you know why this is?

I would LOVE to use these...but sadly I know nothing about modeling and I wouldn't be able to use them unless I had the MSH and TGA's  :'(

I've always had issues with the unswizzling DLL - some of the textures still prove to be broken (predominantly those athat are 8,913KB, 4,097KB and 2,753 KB that I've looked into so far)

This values are tested and most of them work on Windows 7 Ultimate.I think the windows dont mater but just in case i am saying it.They may work on other Windows aswell.Test them.This values work for me.

It wasn't clear what you mean by that, so I'm assuming from what I read on the Xentax thread what I'm supposed to do is add those to the file names so they can be read properly?

Any idea which textures are for Hoth or Bespin? I really want those Carbon Freeze Chamber and Echo Base textures.

I was very confused about the texture unswizzler for a while too, i thought i couldn't get it working thanks to the fact that i installed both the python script and the DLL but they cancel eachother out, also for the guy who said he needs them in MSH and TGA, you can import the OBJs into XSI and you can convert the texture to TGA with Paint(/Paint.net) or Noesis.

Hey Mattzocrazy do you have some progress with the Rep and CIs interiors?Or maybe it will be best to find a time for the tutorial video about the UV problems.If i know how to do this myself i will save you alot of time.Time taht you can spend on other models if you want :P

I Can certainly try and put some time together for a tutorial, i'm in highschool and its exam time but we get like a week off past the 24th so i can probably do it soon

This value does not seem to work as it comes out with scrambled textures.

Also, using value 6 causes a Python error to occur regardless of the circumstances.

EDIT: Addendum: the 385KB textures are 512 512 2

Sorry to necrobump but im back, my PC got corrupted and i ended up having to re-install windows, im gonna start working on more starwars stuff soon just have an issue, any of u still got wobbles unswizzling DLL? cuz wobble wiped all his posts for some reason?
I'm also probably gonna work on some stuff from first assault cuz boy do i want those weapons lol

I released some of the First Assault models to Gametoast: http://gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=32992 (http://gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=32992) if you want them I can re-release them here if you like, I released the stormtrooper, the shotgun, and some map assets (Background assets not the actual demo map) some with textures, some without.
If you can't get to gametoast, tell me and I'll release them here.
