I got pretty bored and annoyed with ZE today. So I decided to whip up something utterly random so I made this Force Ghost.

Enjoy. (Or not since I can not imagine many people having a use for a dead Jedi.)

I love the idea.

Perhaps a local faction, "haunting" a ghost ship, battleground, city, ect?
Or even helpers in Phobos Developer's zombie levels?

Btw the model appears green because of the holograms light it is really light-blue.

Winrar is throwing an error on the zip.

It seems to like the option files.

-forgot to mention that I tried re downloading a few times. same every time.

Just took him for a test drive.
This is a good technology.
I like this a lot.

Thanks, Sleepkiller.

it wont extract properly. says unknown method? exact same error tirpider posted with both download links, wierd. perhaps someone can re-upload either as rar or 7z

No problem I'll have it up in a 7z soon. Check back in about hour mate.

I am interested in the ghostification process used here. You say it was done in XSI, could a rancor or bith also be made into ghost form using XSI?

XSI comfuses me. XVi32 comfuses me slighly less. So here is what I did. I hexedited the mesh for double sided tranperancy, and then added ice reflection via hex editing as well. (It goes straight after 08 for tranperancy and is 16 .)

nice, hex editing has a lot more potential than I originally thought. I have not tried hex editing msh files yet but could see a nice tutorial eventually being written about it.

I apologize for misreading your post. You didn't say you used XSI but somehow I thought u did say that so nvrmind.

the 7z extracts fine thx. I want to try waht you did with rancor mesh now. Being eaten by a anorexic ghost.

Being eaten by a anorexic ghost.
Sounds like fun. Remember to alter the texture to else it will stay solid.(Look at mine to see what I did.)

the default mesh option for rancor is scale 2.0. so if you don't include that option file, it will load default 1.0, thereby making rancors appear anorexic  :P

discovered by accident during exploration of rancorland's underground glitch tunnels

LOL. Gamereon - "The rancors looking aweful thin." Bobba Fett - "Yeah Jabba has not gotton angery with anybody in while."

Hmm, sleepkiller, could you make a transparent body for units, and just leave a solid head?

I've been wanting to do that for my headshot training mod.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet
