I need the assets to the SWBF1 knife model or whatever it's called for my mod idea sereja is putting together for me. Can someone post the link?

I think it is a shortened laser sword, not sure though.  I've not seen the assets.  You can look through gametoast.  If you post there, be very careful.  They are much more strict with their forums than we are with ours.  Be sure to read all the rules.

I thought about making an account on gametoast but from the things ive heard here they sound kinda mean...
I'll look there tonite. But how will I know if it's BF1 and not 2? Will it say? or can they be used on both games...

I can't say for certain, but I think most models can be used for either game.  It might be one of those things that just needs to be tried out.

Do you need an actual knife model or just a laser sword like buckler said?
