Matches can be organised however players want but you must post a screenshot or a link to one below. Also if you want an admin to attend please post here. Servers should be up all the time.

there is a 1v1 server and a 4v4 server
right now, it is GCW era mos eisley and cloud city advance to the next map to get the other map
here are the settings:
-fastspawn
-BattleBelk's antiglitch
-no tank on mos eisley
-no special units (if special is selected, spawn as sniper)
-sideselect, no team damage, 3 sec spawn protect
-cps can be captured
1v1: 15 tickets, no bleed
4v4: 200 tickets with bleed
Until the ICW is over, this will be hosted in Chicago. After ICW, it will be hosted in Atlanta.
Let me know if there needs to be any modifications made to the settings.

For example (and also serious):
Led I would like to challenge you I pick Empire or Republic let me know which Era/map and whens a good time for you.

Agreed :) I didn't put X-fire user names up because some people don't like them published and not everyones on it. I'll try and ask around to get user names and if people can post theirs as part of any match organisation/results that will help.

Oops. I misread your post. I did want it for both eras but we'll leave it like this until someone wants to play Clone Wars since 4 maps is alot to go through for each game. Would it take long to change the server? I'm not sure how much time it would take for you to edit another era.

edit: ok, got it fixed. Both eras now available, but until the ICW is done, you need to cycle through the maps until you get what you want.

I haven't done anything about this so far because the ICW has still be on but it seems like we've quite a few people not accepting challenges. I am going to start listing who is active on the main leaderboard to make organising things easier but I won't start penalising for missing matches unless the person doesn't respond for at least one week.
If you do know anyone taking part please try to contact them and remind them to check up on this topic and where possible try to challenge active players since that will force other players down anyway. Thanks.

Usually with this situation Penguin would get the first match since he challenged first then a second match with Elite could only happen if Sha-zam was still in range but since whoever wins everyones still in range I think we all have enough common sense to fight in either order. :)

A note to all participants; From this Saturday anyone who doesn't respond to challenges within 6 days or can't take part a battle within 2 days after that will be moved to the place below the person who challenged them unless they gave a reason before leaving. The reason to move them below the challenger instead of treating it like a lost match is to stop people exploiting inactive players to gain easy places. Apologies to anyone who's having trouble arranging matches because of inactivity.

There haven't been many matches yet although the leaderboard has changed a bit from people leaving and joining. I don't know if theres been a few losses that haven't been posted though since they don't make a difference. Any results that I use to change places have and will be posted here.

Because of the time of year and how busy everyone is there is no set weeks just a rough guide that you should accept 2 challenges a week if you recieve them, if people accept you can have as many matches a week as you want although obviously more than 2 gets confusing since I'm only updating once a day and other people are waiting for matches.
If I get time I will edit the first post to include a list of current challenges so people who only check now and then can see if they're challenged.

I've had a complaint about this match which I'm currently looking at. It seems it may not have been the real [LK]Drgn.Knight playing, there are a number of reasons for this. As far as I can see there are two options from here;
1. Have a rematch which I will admin and check with both players who they are during the game (which is the option I prefer).
2. If a player doesn't want a rematch I will look more closely at screenshots and ask both players their sides of the story although to be honest unless I find evidence of cheating by either side it will most likely end in a rematch anyway.
If both players could reply to me before before the weekend we can hopefully sort this out quickly.
If anyone wants to private message me about this please do. Apologies to Elite but I'll have to delay your match with Nixo until this is sorted.

When i dueled him he was under {212}Knight , he said he quit LK as [LK]drgn.knight and he said that he couldn't change his name here because he forgot his email and username but i asked him if he can change his tag back to LK so their could be no confusion with the admin and his xfire is 212purple

I recommend dropping dragon knight from the tournament. He never actually signed up--someone else put his name in. There is no way I can verify his IP address unless he makes a post here. I'm not sure he even ever tried to make an account on this site.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Elite. This seems to just be a mix up so if there aren't any more complaints I'm happy to leave it at this. I would also ask that dragon knight makes an account to make him easier to contact. and I'll try to see if he wishes to remain in the tournament.

That was a fake for sure, but with knight not replying anyway I think its fine elite wins :D

Can I challange 212 Norris?
I have 2 quistions :P Is Regent able to battle right now? and For the Teams am i with TcF and what does that do to anything?
The teams are a separate tournament that hasn't really got going due to a lack of teams. The matches can take place at any time although TCF does need to confirm 4-6 members first. The rules are very similar to the individuals.

Yes but then you will need to have a match with someone else afterwards as you can't fight someone more than twice in a row, although after the second match you should take a hint anyway. ;) Also Elite would choose map/era according to this rule ;
'The defender would choose the era and map from Cloud city and Mos Eisley with the condition that 2 people cannot play the same map twice in a row. The attacker would choose the team.'
Edit: Just to make things more confusing Phobos/Rage has already challenged you so unless he agrees otherwise please try and play him first.

When you lag out the score was 6-4
He changed his challenge from Rajsombath to you yesterday. I think with a close score like you had with Elite you should play again but if you lag out again we'll just use the score at the time you lag out unless Elite wants to carry on.
Edit: I posted at the same time as Elite but I'll stick to what I said.

Thanks, but it's not a huge amount of trouble to change things, especially because I've been lucky with breaks from work at the moment. The only thing that's causing problems is the fact I'm in the U.K. so I don't update America matches until the next day. It's definitely less confusing if only I update anyway. :)

How long do people want to see this tournament continue for? I don't mind how long it continues but I would rather stop before it becomes repetitive or people stop enjoying it. It's all in the rules :) although it's quite hard to capture everything 1 on 1 because you can end up running in circles.
If you want a match with tcf please go ahead (although they haven't even named a team) the teams started at the same time as the individuals but there was never enough interest to make it worth doing. In the future i would like to do/see a team tournament but with a bit more structure than this one.

I did ask people but no-one asked for a specific end date. I'm happy with the 1st if no-one objects in the next couple of days. Phobos' tournament is a different style but will be a good place to go for anyone who wants to continue in this type of tournament.
Although I'm unaware how long this has already run, I just informed my clan, Alpha, abotu the tournament and you may have more competitors soon. I'm thinking Mid-November but I really don't know.
hey Led. it seems every time i duel this server, we have to reset score by suicide to get to the right era and map. that is fine, the problem is that it hangs on 0 EVERY SINGLE TIME. I run into this problem alot with passworded duel servers I host also >:(

I wish I knew what causes the end of game hang. If you figure it out, let me know. From the 1.3 beta readme, the issues was apparently addressed. Since the only change from 1.2 to 1.3 beta is the exe, it has to be in there somewhere...

I think there's been some confusion here, remember you move above the person you defeat not swap places. :) The only time this is different is if someone fails to accept your challenge within six days, then they are moved below you.

My intention was to end it completely because we're slowly reaching the point where alot of matches are becoming rematches. If people are interested in continuing in some form; as it is, knockout, top 10 with mod maps etc, please let me know. Apart from a few things I've enjoyed doing this and if other people are enjoying it I'm willing to continue in some way.
At some point I would like to see a team tournament happen since I find them more interesting but the ICW perfected that type of tournament so I don't know what I could do that would be different or worth doing...
I say we just end it at the end of the month. Maybe we just give top ten players a medal that says 'top ten' or something of the sort. or we just end and it was a fun time :D either way its been fun 8)

Ok hi everyone. Thank you for participating in Mine and GDH's tourney, and Led for hosting. Me and GDH have discussed this as any tournament admin would do and we would like to know if you all would like one more chance to prove your true skill. Everyones place will be put in random.org, and your as well as your oppenents number will be chosen, thus you and that person will have that match, if you lose your out... but if you win then you move on to the next match. If you would like to end the tournament this way then post here saying you would like too, if you would just like to end the tournament as is just post here saying you dont want the tourney to end. Thank you all again for being apart in this wonderful tournament. :)
From posts before this idea most people seemed happy for the tournament to end but I like the idea of some sort of 'endgame'. The only thing I will say is that this idea won't take into account your position at the moment so it might seem unfair to the top players, although if you got there through skill you should win right?:) Because this wasn't in the original rules and people joined not knowing about this, it will only happen if players want it and there are no objections.

Thats pretty much my thoughts. :) Sev likes the idea of having something at the end so we thought it was worth seeing what people think.

I've just had 2 matches with mart I won the first 3-6 with cps then he beat me 15-10 in the rematch at cc. He lagged out about 10 times so theres no sreenshot. :)

It's rule number 2 'No mods (minimap always on, transparency etc.) Only crosshairs and player skins are allowed'.
This was discussed at length in the original thread, people said they would drop out if there were mods and people said they would drop out if there wasn't. There were arguments about the advantages of seeing people and mines more clearly but as a few people did want it I said it was fine as long as both players agreed. As long as no one breaks the rules this is the last I will say on this as I can't be bothered with the trolling and personal insults that came last time when we're only a few days from the end. :(

You have to explicitly state that you are against Twilight skins BEFORE the duel commences from my understanding. That is much more efficient than expecting everyone to ask your permission to use a skin they want to use. I'm pretty sure if you have something against twilight skins he will be willing to rematch you without it. But honestly I doubt it will make any difference whatsoever in the outcome.

Yeah this was a good tournment overall. Only flaw was that i think players should be able to start were they left off at a battle if they had to go. Wouldnt be fair since some of us live with our parents who dont like us playing at 11pm... :D

Thank you to all who participated, yes FC is a very skilled clan, I would like to give a special thanks to: Gdh92 for being able to get through headaches of editing the leaderboard, and Led\Buckler for hosting. I will indeed discuss having tournament like this next year in the summer when more people are able to play. Congrates to the Top 3 and nothing less to anyone lower. It was a great tournament.

OK, I'm working on the LeaderBoard Awards. This tournament will be known as LeaderBoard 1. It is a bit of a pain to format all of this stuff, create the award category, and assign them (each icon is a new award designation) so be patient.
I'm not sure we will go all the way down to the top ten for custom awards, but I will see what I can do.
For today, Phobos has the award so you can see what it looks like for now. More later :cheers:

Thanks Led. I was thinking maybe we could make some awards for the CC hallway sniper tournament once that is finished. I could try making the icons if you would like. My idea for the icons would be something like:
Sniper LeaderboardsIt would have a small sniper rifle icon in the center with the letters "SNP" above it (easy to see abbreviation for sniper)
1st place would have a gold colored background, 2nd place silver, and 3rd bronze.
Sure, go for it. Here is the format sizes that I request (note they don't have to be square, but should fit inside the dimensions)
30 x 24 for the forum display next to your posts
300 x 240 for the award display with the mini award is clicked on
The format of the files need to be PNG.
In order for players to get awards they will need to have a valid account here, and as a matter of policy for awards I request that any member of the forum that agrees to follow the tournament rules be allowed to play.
I know these are not issues for this tournament, but want to make it known for potential future tournament organizers.

Things got a bit busy with the server issues. I'll revisit the situation when I can.
Thanks for all your help Led. As long as the top 5 get something that's the main thing. As for Admin awards it was only me organising and Sharpshot adminning and that's clearly visible when view this topic so they aren't that important. :)

Sorry for big bump, anyone interested in this tourney again? As there ae many tournaments going on we could wait until a few are done as led hosts so many :(
