The sign up thread for next weeks match has been posted!
there has also been a little rule addition:
Anyone willing to host this week? Zorba, you still up for doing the draw?
I think we'll also need to tighten up the entry to the match. Latecomers are welcome but the need to:
1. be registered here, and at thisiswar (and understand how things work).
2. 'check in' first via the thisiswar forum by posting in the match thread before the game.
3. confirm in the lobby what team they are in (join whatever team has the lesser players otherwise Team A).

Xfire takes nowhere near as much bandwidth as Ventrillo. And I'd send them to a PC on Vent like HC was doing to me yesterday

Zorba is unable to film the draw...anyone else want to give it a go? Just needs to be posted on youtube!
In the UK we also change to BST (summertime) on Sunday so that makes puts me back to the 5hrs time diff. I do not know what games I will make at 1 am but I'll try to make some of them! I will still be doing all you're scores etc so please make sure you take screenshots of the scoresheets and post them after the match!

Dont worry sarg I'll add you, as I'm just about to do the draw! All you need to do next time is post a thread on the TiW site letting me know that you wanna play. Even if you have missed the filming of the draw you'll still get added to a team!

the draw is up for this match! If you're not in the draw you never signed up! If you want to play in the match please post either here or on the thisiswar site before the start of the match so that additional players can be added to teams before the match starts.
A few ppl mentioned the Maze for the map pool. there is a map pool discussion thread on the tiw site. If you want it in either the regular pool (or the extended pool) post on the tiw site and let's see how everyone feels about it!
Remember to take screenshots of the score sheets!

Brilliant! All you need to do is set things up in the format you copied and pasted above! Also add an extra lobby at the start so that there are 2 lobbies then the match starts. this allows for late comers or ppl that have their clocks set wrong. Throw in a a couple of bots in the mix too!

nah, go for it! doesnt matter how many ppl play, low numbers generally mean higher scores, this is also the reason that bots/Ai are included. You should play the game with 8 bots per team (as mentioned in a previous thread).
It is also important to keep these kind of thing as regular as possible. Come hell or high water thats what I say. Hell I'd still play if it was just me...and push my scores up the board, one of the advantages of a quieter game!

No problem. We had at first a bit of lag. Then I realized I was using Wifi and that could be slowing it down. So I restarted using Wire instead and it was great. We had a lot of people join and it was fun. Game ended at about 9:18 PM and started after my last post before.
