As the topic states, I can no longer play SWBF. If you haven't read my post in "Laptop Issues" before this, then allow me to explain why:

Ok, I was going to go on the laptop today and browse the forums, until I realized the startup took a bit longer than usual. It was still stuck with the orange LEDs and black screen, when suddenly my caps lock and scroll lock lights flashed 3 times with a white, blank screen every 5 seconds. I first thought it was a glitch upon startup, then I tried it 2 more times, same incident occured. I went to the HP forums to see if anyone else had my issue. I found a thread with people experiencing the same issue, 2 people infact. I then found the worst part, nobody has solved the issue, and the last post was made in October 2012. With no solution to the issue, I can no longer play SWBF (disc is stuck in the laptop's hard drive), SWBFII, or other games I've played on there. My laptop is now a 5-year old HP deadweight piece of technology.

Plus, I can't put SWBF/SWBFII on my desktop (my parents forbid it, and it's my brothers), and I don't have the money for another laptop. So with much regret, I must say I can no longer play SWBF, and that my time with the game has come to an end.

However, I will still be active on the forums, just will no longer be on a laptop and will no longer be in-game. So to those who I have met in-game, I say farewell to you guys, it was nice killing you or being killed by you. To those on the forums, I'm not leaving, but will no longer be on SWBF.

Farewell SWBF, until I can get another computer and your disc out of my deadweight laptop. 

Hey guys, I'm not sure if everyone has already seen this, but I think this is pretty cool. This dude off of 4chan made a work in progress animation video last year or something, and I personally think it looks totally wicked. Tell me what ya think! I personally think it has that Anime art-style.

Hey guys, I was just looking around and comparing specs of Battlefield 3 (because it uses Frostbite 2 and SWBF will use Frostbite 3), to see if I could run the new SWBF when it comes out. I came across this website though that has an application that scans your computer to see if you have minimal requirements to play a game. So, I tried to see if I could run Battlefield 3, and cannot.

On the other hand though, it wouldn't hurt to see if your computers can run Battlefield 3 (as it's the only game that has the closest specs to the new SWBF right now). Here's the link if you want to try it out:

Hey guys, I might be a tad late for this, but I was wondering if anyone would care to make my guy for the Battle Royale mod? Anyways, here's what I had planned out:

He would look in relation to Meca One from the Lego Exo-Force series (Images attached), though I want his red eyes to be one visor eyepiece (like the last image).  As for araments, here's what I'd like to see:

Primary: Assault Rifle (like the one the Marines use in Snake's Desert Town mod, coloured gold if possible)
2nd Primary: Pistol (using the DH-17 model, also coloured gold if possible)
Secondary: 6 Grenades
2nd Secondary: Health & Ammo Dispenser

If anyone would prefer I do have an alternative appearance for my guy, but I'l only mention that if you guys can't get the Meca One idea to work out. Also, sorry in advance if I sound a bit demanding.

Well, I hate to say this, but I think after 3 years or so, my laptop is nearing the end of it's life cycle (possibly). After I did the defragmentation of my laptop a few weeks back, I have noticed some things. First off, I cannot watch YouTube videos in 720p HD format, I used to be able to. Secondly, my game won't handle certain modmaps. I tried playing Sereja's new Nar Shaddaa map, however it always crashes when it's loading, very similar to when I tried Snake's Utapau map. I have also noticed that recently my game overheats much faster than it used to.

To put it short, I'm just saying don't expect me to be in-game much (it will be even rarer now due to my laptop's troubles). However if anyone has ideas that could help me out in expanding my laptop's life cycle however, here's the specs you will need to know:

Hey guys, just curios if anyone knew what the font type was/is for SWBF? I mean like the chat font and/or menu font. If anyone knows where I can find it, it would be greatly appreciated! If it's not available anywhere, then perhaps someone could upload the .ttf file(s) of it?

Hey guys, just figured I would toss this up for anyone who's interested.

Recently, the finale's for Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice aired on Saturday. A month or so before this, Cartoon Network stated that both shows would not get renewed for another season, as they are to be replaced by Teen Titans Go! and Beware The Batman later in the year. However, being a fan of Young Justice (and recently Green Lantern: The Animated Series), I feel Cartoon Network is just ruining their fanbase by cancelling these great shows. I know I'm a fan of Batman (and might watch Beware The Batman), but Young Justice is just one of those great shows that show up every once in a while. If you remember watching Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, chances are you would love Young Justice.

I guess what I'm really saying is this: Is there anyone here that agrees with me (if anyone) that taking down Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice is an unwise decision for Cartoon Network?

Ignore it if you like, just figured I would give it a shot is all.

I know I seem to be copying off jdee's post by doing this,   but it has been going for a while. I play SWBF a lot, and I rarely (if ever) overheat. However, when I play SWBF2 for an hour or 2, it always cuts mid-game (regardless if server hosting or not). I don't know why though! Help!

Yes, I have a cooling pad. It is on a very cool surface, and the fan is 1 big one.

Also, tech specs: HP Pavillion DV3Z, AMD Turion 64 x2 dual-core processor, ATI Radeon graphics, Windows Vista OS

Please note: I am a cheapskate, I don't have the money to blow on a bunch of top-of-the-line stuff to keep my laptop running, so some low-tech solution or something that involves least amount of money is key to me!

Hey guys, I was recently looking at some of the themes that are on the site, and apparently all but 6 members use 1 other theme than the default. I was thinkin', is there a way to add themes to the site, or is it only administrator permission? Personally I would be curios to see what other themes there are for the site, just to keep it fresh, in a way.

Hey guys, for those of you that use iOS, you probably hate that there's no flash player plug-in, right? Well, I found this awesome app on the App Store called "Puffin Web Browser". It basically runs the browser with a flash player plug-in, aloowing you to access xat chats, videos, etc. Also, the free version gives you a 14 day trial, but you can enter a redeem code that lets you have more than that! If you guys want the code, just PM me (I don't want to appear like those spam advertising YouTube comments). Anyways, the free version is obviously free, but the paid version (which for some reason is in the American store but not the Canadian store), is $2.99. Download if you have iOS (or Android, it's also on Android), ignore if you want.

Hey guys, I recently downloaded this map called Abel's Shipment (I saw it was based off of a map in CoD4), but when I open it, all I get is a Data folder, and an addme script. Do I add the Data folder into the AddOn folder, or do I make a new folder and place Data and the addme.script into the file? Please help!

Hey guys, I was wondering, do we even have a SWBFGamers wallpaper? I was thinking perhaps we could just post our designs for an SWBFGamers wallpaper, and if possible have a vote for an official one? I got the idea because I saw a topic which had an MPCGamers wallpaper on it, on the Creative Matrix forums. Anyways, here's mine that I made, it's in 1024x768 resolution, since I have an iPad 2. Hi guys, I seem to have ran into a problem.

Ok, so, I was browsing through Filefront the other day, and I found a map by Mavertichell called the Emperor's Throne Room. I knew it was for SWBF2, so I decided to download it. But whenever I try to download it, it gives me a 403-Forbidden message! Even so, does anyone perhaps have that map on their SWBF2 or know where I could find it? If so, could it please be uploaded as an .exe or .zip? If not, then I guess I will have to wait until Maveritchell realizes that his download won't work.
