Welcome Center / Remember Me?
June 18, 2010, 12:43:37 PM
For you older members, you may know me. Many of you are friends on Steam. I used to be fairly active around here, but then I lost interest in SWBF. Figured I'd pop back in here, now that school is over for me (and because every other game I own is unplayable atm :P )

In plain fastest browser, chrome wins. In fastest AND stable browser, I'd go with FF. I've had quite a few bad experiences with chrome crashing on my lower end laptop (while programming ugh). FF does nothing like that to me

Oh and I don't even use IE to download FF. wget FTW!

For OS I'd recommend Win7, but if you happen to have an XP install disc I'd dual-boot it since such a recent release would most likely have comparability issues (I can't run the robot programming software for our robotics team on my Win7 :( )

ok first of all the idea that bing and yahoo compete is a joke. they barely are a factor anymore.

Just compare the market share of macs vs. windowss (puts on anti-flame suit). I'm sure you still consider macs to be a competitor to windows. It's just that people don't go out proclaiming "I USE BING AS MY SEARCH ENGINE" so it's not as noticeable

Does it do the same thing if you use apple-Q or menu->quit?

Any chance you're running Antivirus software? Check it's rules list and add an exception for battlefront on 3658 if it isn't there

lol, that's your problem. Mod1 cannot be used for mod building. It was not created using the SWBF mod tools and therefore cannot be munged. Make a new one in BFBuilder and everything should work

I go with Ka-sheek

SWBF1 Modding Tutorials / Re: Basic ODF Editing
October 04, 2009, 01:26:29 PM
Might be. I can already read the munged ODFs, all I have to do is make that input-output table of the hashes and I can de-munge. Of course, it would take forever to build that table, unless I could use some sort of pre-made list of ODF options *cough documentation cough* and feed it into the hasher. Plus, if I get the algorithm, then I can go one step better: an ODF munger for mac

You should also include the boundaries fix in there

ASSOME! i hope this one come out for the mac and otherways: AG! Give us the mac version (pleaseeeee)

Uhh Verik that's concept art for a game that was never made and may never be made. Apparently Free Radical had both SWBF3 and 4, and now that free radical is gone SWBF4 is gone for sure.
