Multiplayer hanging for anyone else? (GOG Steam version)

I tried playing multiplayer today, my client freezes upon trying to access the server browser. I have no mods installed, I'm on a clean vanilla version of the game. I'm just wondering if it's just something wrong with my game or if it's on the other end, if anyone else with the steam version could notify me if MP is working for them I'd be grateful!

It was the same for me yesterday. Freezes at 0 on the multilayer tab.

Last night it started working for me again, but many of the top servers are no longer up, at least as of yesterday. I was talking to other people while I played, it seems some people had a similar issue, but not everyone. It's strange really. I just hope we get the space server back.

A few weeks ago I installed the GOG version and the multiplayer does not work, an unknown error appears. It would certainly be a great help if someone has a solution for this. I know that GOG is the only alternative to play for real.

There is, SWBFSpy is functional and stable.
