SWBF2 Mod tools for SWBF1.zip by snake

http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=541

QuoteThese are just the SWBF2 assets (all of them) so you don't have to go hunting around the mod tools trying to find everything. I basically "trimmed the fat." It's also much smaller than the full SWBF2 mod tools.

aaah, so you need to place your 'shipped worlds' folder from bfbuilder to the addon folder of thetool, and then you need to open the .lua with notepad and then you just change what you want

ok thx

but now for the other questions?

how do i import the crashed transport ship from the mod map: Bounty Hunters: Rebel Outpost

and how do i import the wampas from the map mod: hoth
here a link: http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=1878.0

i want to import the wampas from the locals to the imperials side to my map, know how to?

All of the shipped worlds have LUA in the mission builder.  Simply edit and munge if it is a shipped world--no need to go through BFbuilder.  If you are making a whole new world, then it may be easier to go through BFbuilder.

To import things like props (the crashed ship) you need to find the assets, e.g. the model.  Same for other units like the wampa.

The best bet is to see if you can find the model in the SWBF2 mod tools.  Other than that, Gametoast modders have made and released a bunch of other models.  Visit them to find out what is available.  Be sure to credit the modellers if you use one of their models.

I think the wampa model is available in the alien assets pack that phobos put together.  He should be able to provide you a link.

If we have any macs that want to participate, let me know and I can set up a DC server for it.

nice job target!

oops, must have missed the double elimination in your post  ;)

I will participate.  SK, we should also post a link on the PLA forums.  If I may, I would also suggest that the tournament be double elimination, so that its not just one and done.

Jedikiller is an emeritus website admin for the website.  He does not play SWBF much any more.

You use the mission level builder.

You edit text files, save them, then munge them to make the new mission.lvl file.

Please read the tutorials again.

You sir, are a craftsman with a hex-knive.

I was just thinking it could be a mod you thought you removed but was actually still stuck in the Virtual Store.  That issue plauged Roland for a couple of weeks.  Even re-installing his game did not clean out the Virtual Store.

ok, i put one more option in--maybe that's enough for a while, but you are welcome to let me know if there is another option that you like and I can install it :)

For the themes that people use, I can try to put in new banners that look SWBF-ish.

I'm not sure if users can change default colors, but there may be a way that I can change the option file for an individual user.  (Time to talk to JediKiller again!)
