Can't Connect

When I try to join a game it says "Connection to host lost" Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

Which game is it? Did u patch the game urself ? How long has this been happening to u ?

Battlefront 2. I downlaoded the .exe and put it into the gamedata if thats what you mean by patching it. And I have only just put in swbfspy today.

Do you have the game on steam or disc? if on steam, make sure you rename your original exe to something like BattlefrontIIOriginal.exe and rename the SWBFSpy exe to BattlefrontII.exe
if you did not do this before, your steam will pickup the original exe.

Steam, and I made sure that steam uses the new exe.

Also, make sure ur anti virus is not the one cause this issue.

add the game path to the antivirus exceptions list, make sure windows firewall is not interfering and, if none of that helps, maybe try forwarding ports. some games require people to do that, and it also depends on if the person's computer needs for it to be done or not. I know there's tutorials online on how to do this.

also, do you see the server list? try going to options > internet and add the bandwidth to max and choose both options to yes.
if you see the server list, try joining all the servers and tell me if any work.
