Ive seen alot of skins from people showing me. I would like to know if any moders could just take the characters and just change their color. Just a basic solid easy color.

you got me thinking jamman. i know it is possible to open in hex edit the tga file of the any regular troop. make note of the beginning and end of that file. now search for the beginning and end to see what to take out of the lvl side file that comes with the game. next i would try to stick in that place any tga picture 512x512 pixels. it could even be the exact same tga troop skin altered the way you wanted it. to alter for example the cis troop skin one would have to do certain things we can talk about in a separate topic. now imagine if this is possible what could be done to world map or any swbf1 lvl files. i use both hex edit PSPad to copy, cut and past and XVI32 to search.
