don't read further if you don't give a crud about my explanation.

How I got into Halo without an xbox you ask? I played the original Halo at my friend's house and we beat the campaign a few times together, that got me hooked. Then I spent 7 long, Halo-less years, with few breaks in between, thanks to my ignorance of Halo 1 PC. I hadn't the slightest idea it ever existed until fall 09. Then I found and I was all like 

then when I finally got it for xmas I was all like 
And now, the only vista comp in the house is full of memory, so I'm Halo 2-less. Yeah, I've played bits and pieces of it (And a VERY small amount of H3) but no story bits. And H3 probably won't come out on PC ever, and even if it did, certainly none of the comps around here could handle it. so I basically just said, "screw it, I'll just get a 360 and find out what happens next in the story and play 2 more awesome games (yeah, I know I'm gonna be disappointed for H2) instead of dealing and waiting with the comp versions.

do the plasma grenades actually stick to people?! 

well, I've beaten legendary playing normally. know where key weapons are, health packs, where I can hide, all that. but still, I can't highly doubt this is possible on legendary.

On another note, thanks for making a walkthrough for melee only. I've watched nextgenwalkthrough's on youtube Halo 1 guide to death,  melee only for a change is quite entertaining.

yeah, it's gotta be a weekend. Friday or saturday evening, around 4 ish or 5 ish. I can't suggest any times though, as I'm on western time (Idaho) and what might be convenient for me might not be convenient for those in the east or any England/UK people.

I've never gotten past level 2- I got bored. I'll have to continue with it someday.
I need to see you get past those flood combat forms on flood levels. Those things take like 15-25 melees to kill on legendary and they don't mind sticking in a few of their triple melees. I need to see the library fist only. I've just gotta.

I don't see how this is even possible on legendary. Especially for elites. Their plasma rifles take 4-5 hits to drain your shield on legendary then they eat away at the health. And this is HALO, after all. With the next difficulty, its not just enemies getting more aggressive and accurate. They do more damage to you, you do less damage to them, and they get higher toughness levels on most spots. I.E, spots where there are a blue elite on heroic, there's now a red elite instead, or another blue. Enemies are also more numerous on legendary. It's harder in every way you can imagine.

After you told me a weekish ago about this, I went right away and tried this on normal. Really fun, funny, and a great challenge.

btw, are all mac graphics like that? They're weird. The plasma rifles fire sniper-rifle like beams and all that happens when shields light up is that little parts of their body light up. (The elites)

I am completely fine with either of those days, honestly there's nothing major going on that I can't reschedule going on in March for me, so... yeah. Anyday is good for me, really.

Ok, I've decided that I'm just gonna get a computer that's... uh... not... from 2001? Yeah, that would help. Alot. After all, 9 years is a ripe old age for a computer. I'll just save it as a back-up comp in case something happens to my new one. Problem solved!

How does one take screen shots when not in-game?

Yeah, Led would probably be the best option, I think 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999% get our best ping on his servers.I would like to see some battlefield-style maps. Like Kashyyyk Docks, Geonosis Spire, or Rhen Var Harbor, as long as people wouldn't go nuts with the tanks.But alas, they would. Better just stick to infantry maps. On that subject, I don't believe we've had Jabba's Palace as a map on the list. Despite being small it's fun and there are all sorts of strategic options.Let's have some mod maps in this next one. In the past, there was a BF2 conversion map and a mod map, at least for PW2. We should have a balanced mix of common mod maps and classic maps, with a BF2 conversion for good measure. Another factor to figure out is how LONG this break will be? Will it be a set in stone time, or when most of the people get bored? But this is but a minor detail.
