Well I decided to put together all the things I could find about Localization. There is no real format or anything I'm just going to add some links and stuff about localization together in one thread so people don't have to go searching around everywhere for them. I think this would be good to put in the tut section.

Renaming CP's:

-How do I change the names of the CPs? In other words, when I click on a CP in the spawn screen, I want the name of it to be what I created for it, and when a CP is captured, I want it to say "Empire has captured "(chosen name)"...-

-Labels are used as localization keys. Localization is the process of converting the text that appears on screen into multiple languages. For this reason the actual text that appears in game is not put in the label, but a key name is that is then referenced by a localization tool that can then replace that key name with the real label in the right language. In game, when at the unit selection screen there is a map on the right that allows players to select a command post to spawn at. Below that is displayed the localized name linked to a command posts key name. The key names attached to the command posts in the template are CP1Label and CP2Label. These are used by default so it is understood in the localization tool where the references come from.-

-Thanks Fred, I got into the localization tool and changed not only the CP names, but the Objectives. Only one thing though: I added a third CP as "CP3Label" in the tool, but I can't see how to group it with the other CPs there. However, it worked alright without doing that. Do I still need to group it with the others?
I also know now that as I add more CPs, I need to add it into the localization tool.-

-The localization strings correspond with what you type in as the CP label, and to add a new key or scope you just right click on the parent and select Add Key or Add Scope.-
