Who do you think makes more money than Mc Donalds a year?
Just other fast food places, or any business?

While I disagree with your reasoning, I believe you reach the correct result. McDonalds is a firm whose international operations are so extensive that a proxy for measuring purchasing power parity bears the name of one of its products.

it goes McDonalds, Subway, Burger King - regardless of what denizens of this forum think.
McDonald's is on top of the fast food industry, financially speaking.

Right, but that's just one measure of sales and is, by no means, the only one. (Full disclosure: I think it's the best means of measuring in this context.) My previous statement notwithstanding, I, to play Devil's Advocate, contend that that while sales revenue is a measure of size it is inapposite. Why? Why is total sales flawed? The answer boils down to very rarely does McDonalds Co. or Doctor's Associates, respectively the central entities of the various McDonalds and Subway restaurants, sell hamburgers. The most valuable commodity sold by McDonalds Co. is not even edible; instead, McDonalds Co. draws revenue from franchising. And there are more franchises of Subway than there are of McDonalds.

McDonald's franchised revenues make up about 32% of its total revenue.
I believe Subway is a privately owned company, so their financial statements are not publicly available.

Interesting. Where's the other 68% coming from? It can't be from stores operated by McDonalds Co.: there just aren't enough to account for 1 billion (if I did my math correctly) dollars of sales revenue.
68% of the revenue comes from company-operated sales. When in doubt, go to the actual website for the financial statements.

Well this is pointless :P
But I'm pretty sure, that Mc D's is doing far well better than most other fast food organizations in the global perspective, it is like the fast food versions of COKE brand, which is known virtually all over the world.
However Maccy D's is possibly the company I despise most, I have opinions.
Well what about companys as: facebook, macintosh, PC, Google and all the other ones?
Yea i rarely eat a burger for Mac D, Subway is just too good. Although Mcdonalds is most popular and rich fast food network in the world, and lol verik we are talking about fast food places that can compare to McDonalds
Are you guys really this bored with the root servers down that this is what you talk about?

Funnily enough restaurants aren't split into Fast Food and "fancy pants" places for ponces. There are plenty of local cafes/bars who put time and effort into their food.
I love mcdonalds. Used to eat that before track meets. I hate wendys my father makes me eat there every week, but the fries are good. Mexican faijiatas are good to! :D I love how I eat so much fastfood and am still one of the skinnyest in my grade, also the youngest :p

Anytime ;) well it is odd to have a snack vending machine in a bathroom!
Burger King may be in the top 10?
McDonalds is the undisputed king of fast food simply because they're everywhere. In New York, they're literally in every neighborhood you're in. Wether you're in Far Rockaway or in the center of manhattan, you can walk to at least 2 McDonalds. I live in really deep in Queens and I can walk to 3 of them. They're EVERYWHERE.
I'm a huge fan of Wendy's. The baconator is an absolutely unhealthy sandwich but it's so good that it's hard to get away from it. The only problem is that the closest one is 30 blocks from me. While I've walked there enough times, it's not like I can get off the train from school and pick up a meal.
http://www.businessinsider.com/the-most-popular-fast-food-restaurants-in-america-2012-7?op=1
The most popular fast food restarurant is McDonloads, followed by Subway, Starbucks, Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Hut, KFC, Chick-Fil-A, Sonic (it's a shame they're not in New York. I love it there), Domino's, Panera Bread, Arby's, and Jack in the Box.
Wow you did your research :D What is Jack in the box though? I have never been to one much less heard of this restaurant. I suppose I don't exactly live in the biggest state that would have one but I do travel a lot and I thought I knew about most 'Fast-Food' places. Is this in bigger cities/states?

Hmm I thought Jack in the Box was a national chain, but I just read it's only in 19 states. I would say it's comparable to McDonald's, but with a bit more variety. By the way, that guy is Jack. So if Jack in the box expands, don't freak out when you see a guy in a suit wearing a clown head. :P
my favorite fast-food type place is called taco bueno, and I've only seen it in OK. (don't confuse it with the god awful taco bell)
The best part about taco bell is the price! You can get a full meal for cheaper than McDonalds. When you're hungry and you only have a few bucks on you, you stop caring about the fact that its Taco Bell.

They are just a fast food place like any other.
They have a more diverse menu than most. Burgers, fish, chicken, rice bowls, fried tacos.. all sorts of things to make your bowels hate you.
I used to work at one. The high point of that was winning their "Golden Spatula" award for following proper staging and cleaning. The low part is that I was the only recipiant of that award in Texas at the time. The store got a small hanging award with a groovy brass spatula, while I got a keychain with an etching of a spatula on it.
I recommend eating in restraunts where sanitary practices are the norm and not award worthy.
