Well watching the video it seems to me like the lag and ban didn't affect much, and Maj could have just jumped back in

it was crappy that he got booted, but it was an accident. I think the raging and quitting had more of an ill effect on the results of the match than anything else, and that was his decision.

I agree 100%.

2. If you check the kill feed during the lag spike other people died.

The only times that Kiwi's gameplay was noticeably (majorly) affected by lag:

Right before Majesty was booted--probably when Phobos entered the server settings:

One more person died shortly after.[/spoiler]

When KeyGen was banned:

Even though I can't vote, I would like to share my opinion.

if Majesty wouldn't have rage quit.

Majesty rage quitting should not be a deciding factor.  If someone rage quits, it's their own doing.  I watched the video that Kiwi posted, and Majesty could have rejoined and played within a minute, but instead, he decides to curse up a storm and complain about how awful the tournament is.

When the giant lag spike occurred when Keygen was banned three of Alpha/PFA's players died during the lag spike (including Kiwi) which in my opinion helped YAK gain a decent lead in CP's into a pretty even game.

I watched the video, and YAK captured two command posts right before the giant lag spike, and Kiwi was the only one who died during those few seconds of lag.

I've been waiting on Phobos and Joseph's vote on a rematch. I suppose I could go ahead and do Week 3's post.

Alpha/PFA and YAK will have more choices on our attacks depending on the outcome of the Citadel battle, so that should be decided before the W3 thread is up.

Also, Joe was playing during the match.  The only listed admins that were present and not playing were you and Phobos.

Start here:

That will teach you what you need to know to get you started.

If you already have BFBuilder installed and working properly, use this to get familiar with ZeroEditor:

There are other tutorials and videos, but that is what I used to familiarize myself with ZE.

Good luck!

I'm having the same problem now.

I restarted my computer and modem...no dice.

A YAK player was having that problem yesterday too.  We didn't figure out what caused the problem, but he fixed it by restarting his computer.

I can host a practice server with no PW, which maps do you want?

We won't be needing one this week, but I can PM you the details once I know our schedule for next week.  Thanks for doing this!

Led, I suppose we won't be needing your server.  Thank you for offering.

That server is gone, but I have one set up from home.  Just tell me what maps you want to use for practice.

Thank you!

We won't be needing one this week since the battles are so soon, but I'll send you a PM about next week's battles once I know where they are.

The servers are set up for a buffer round with 10 tickets and the normal round at 200. If you are going to train in the servers before battle, just make sure it stays on the buffer round when you leave @ 10 reinforcements.

If there is an open slot, would it be possible for YAK to have their own practice server?  If your server slots are all used, I believe I have the information for Led's remote desktop still from when I used it in the ICW3.  I wouldn't mind changing the maps on the server every week so we could have a place to train in peace, without tampering with the official servers (with Led's approval, of course)

Would it be a problem if YAK used the vacant servers to prepare for our battles?  We don't have a place to strategize and train.

We're already attacking En'Ten at that time.  Nothing is scheduled for 3:00 PM EST, if that works for you.

We have agreed upon a new rule. If you are attacking a clan that is primarily EU players you can not schedule a attack after 10 PM Berlin. (4PM EST) This will help balance out the fact it's American servers only. However the EU clan can attack at what ever time they want. I will modify this into the original post.

I like this idea, and I would like YAK to be thought of as one of the European clans for the sake of the new rule.  Even though we are not primarily European, I don't want our European players missing out because they need to sleep.

Also, YAK is swapping the times for our attacks.  That should solve the problem of Jedi Temple being too early and Citadel being too late.
