make sure tga files are saved with RLE compression *turned off*
this is a common reason skins get messed up

another tactic is to Hexedit the file.  Any new words cannot be longer than the existing ones
e.g. use a hex editor, search for "hello"
and replace with "hola "

If I recall correctly, each team is assigned a number.  The number is given in the world file at the vehicle spawn, i.e not in the mission lua.  Change and remunge the entire map, or you can hexedit.

Sorry you are having trouble with this.  If anyone could do it, we would have done it--and for free.  The modding community frowns upon pay transactions (i.e. not allowed). 

My advice would be to install it soon.  My CDs have had plenty of drive errors when I've tried to reinstall (although the DVD version may be better.)

I think the BoPC also used DRM...but there is a 1.2 no cd out there...somewhere...

Hey, good to see you!  Some great mods have come by these days.  Steam/GoG has released the old game again, and we have our own master server for old old version.

And the forum is still pretty active, all things considered.  I do need to work on the forum skin though
