Yep. I just don't know of any maps for BF1 or BF2 that has the Sith Empire from SWTOR (Harrower Dreadnoughts are cool!) I saw images of these on the BF wiki here http://battlefront.wikia.com/wiki/Sith_Empire and here http://battlefront.wikia.com/wiki/Sith_Navy. My question is; are there maps out there that have the stuff from TOR mod where I don't need to install a mod? 'Cause I already have one installed.

Since I still can't get BFbuilderPro working, I'd thought I'd share my ideas for possible maps for you skilled map makers out there to possibly use. Feel free to refer to this thread if you want an idea for a map.

Idea #1: Mediterranean Island

Teams:

Heroes

Indiana Jones: Stolen Luger, Panzerfaust, Whip (unit count: 1)

Marion Ravenwood: Bottle (grenade-like ranged weapon), Knife (unit count 1)

Villains

Enemy Guard: Mauser Rifle, Luger (Reskinned Rebel Soldier with desert uniform with blond hair & blue eyes)

Enemy Officer: MP-40, Grenades (Reskinned Naboo Royal Guard with desert uniform with blond hair & blue eyes)

Bazooka Trooper: Panzerfaust  (appear the same as Enemy Officer, but with a bandolier)

Major Toht: Luger, Knife (unit count 1) (increased health)

I believe there was an unofficial update for BF2 that changed the standard maps to give most of them Hunt modes, my favorite being Jabba's Palace. It also allowed you to play in 3 different eras: The Knights of the Old Republic era, the Clones Wars, and the Galactic Civil War.

Sorry for bumping, but I wanted to say this, and I figure this is the best place to say it.

I like your Death Star map, but is it possible to do what you did with your Nar Shaddaa and Naboo maps where you added sides with characters you couldn't normally play as?

What I'm getting at is-I really like your Death Star Trooper/Imperial Navy Trooper (the unit class that looks like a Rebel Soldier, but in black). I noticed you can play as an Imperial Gunner, but not as the Imperial Navy Trooper. Could you make an adjustment available for the Death Star map to switch some units around so I can play as him? Also I think the Imperials should be using the pistol that the Separatist Droids usually use because that is an imperial pistol in SW canon (Scout Trooper excepted)

Yep that was the problem. It works fine now that I deleted a whole bunch. I had about 28 folders before, now I have 19.

It doesn't work in single player (instant action) or multiplayer. In MP it claims that I don't have the map.

To fix the problem I replaced my Tat3 folder with one that Led posted http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=602 in case it was overwritten. I still am having the problem.

If I remember corretly, I didn't have this problem prior to updating Battlefront to be able to play in multiplayer. Could that be it?

How about a Jabba's Palace map with an outside area? Here's my idea;

Bases

Place a desert outside with a cliff on one side of the map, and mountains on the other. Give the Rebels a little base with no command posts, but destructible CP's such as a Faamba for the shield generator, the Hoth shield generator to power the Faamba, and maybe a Techno Union Transport/Assembly Area as another "building" (Empire at War)

Do the same thing for the Empire, except let them have the Techno Union ship.

The local team will be called "Hutt Cartel" and they get 2 command posts in Jabba's Palace (or they don't start with them, but could capture them) They also get 1 or 2 command posts outside, where they get 3 desert Skiffs to work with. Oh, and make Jabba's Sail barge one of their CP's.

Factions

Rebels

Units: Stock Units

Hero: Luke Skywalker

Unit Count: 16

Empire

Units:

Stormtrooper Replacement: Sandtrooper (same weapons, but make the blaster rifle look like the rebel/Tusken sniper rifle like in EAW)

Rename Shock Trooper to Rocket Trooper

Replace Dark Trooper with Imperial Navy Trooper or Imperial Navy Officer

Also, make the pistols the Imps use the droid blaster pistol like in the trilogy (with the exception of the Scout trooper of course)

Weequay: Tusken Raider reskin with Naboo Royal Guard weapons

Hero: Boba Fett (make another local team with only 1 unit? Not sure how it works)

Whenever I load up Tatooine: Jabba's Palace in Battlefront 1, the game crashes during the loading screen after a few second pass. Does anybody know what could be causing this?

Well, now it seems that my "Z" button is sticky.  :slap: Hopefully that symptom will go away sometime soon. If not, I'll use Led's method of contending with that problem.

Heh heh...thing is that when I was going to do a video demonstration of what the problem was for someone else, my computer suddenly is working again!  :shrug: I guess it just needed a few hours to dry off? All the problems I had are gone as if nothing happened, strange...

I posted this elsewhere but it didn't get a response yet. I know some of you are really tech-savvy, so I'm posting this in hopes you can help me.

This morning I accidentally spilled coffee on my keyboard, and now some of they keys are sticky and whenever I press the "A", it types both"A" and "S". Whenever I try to use it, the screen goes black as though its been on long enough for the screensaver to activate. It does this every second, and I was hardly able to do anything but press the power button to go back to what I was attempting to do.  :rant: Yesterday I used my computer all day, and it gets used a lot daily so I'm wondering if that caused the problem. My ASUS computer is a desktop with Windows 7 on it (NOT a laptop). Can anyone help me?!

The only reason I was able to post this is I switched to my other desktop computer which is a lot slower (the computer is like 15 years old!)

Okay, so do I put SWBF-ModTools-141111 in WIN7 (C:), or do I go in SWBF-ModTools-141111/LucasArts and pull out the BFBuilder folder and put it in WIN7 (C:)? What do I do about all the other folders? (before you ask, I've already used the BoPC Registry fix and put SPTest in GameData)

The reason why I didn't put BFBuilder in WIN7 (C:) is because there is a space between "7" and "(". I read the readme for the Mod Tools, and it said:

My hopes will probably be dashed since nobody else seems to give a  :censored: (and YES, I censored it myself this time so don't ban me) but I had a few complaints with Battlefront II that I hope will be changed in Battlefront III. They are as follows:

#1: In the first Battlefront game, your team was green, enemy team was red, and the local team(s) were yellow. In Battlefront II, they made an unnecessary change from green to blue, and they made the local team red/blue depending on whether or not they were on your side. I don't know about you but that really irritated me, and I hope that in BF3 (or some future game) Rebels will be designated as red, Empire will be designated as blue, and locals will either be yellow or orange ( just like in Empire at War: Forces of Corruption)

#2: In the first Battlefront, you had a variety of difficulty choices:
   A: Easy (for beginners or people who aren't good who need practice)
   B: Medium (casual difficulty)
   C: Hard (for more experienced players looking for a challenge)
In Battlefront II, there is Normal, and Elite difficulties. Why?! Is this basically saying "we only want hardcore FPS players playing, so instead of encouraging people to play using the training wheels of easy mode, we are just gonna shove 'em down the learning cliff and make them not want to play! AHAHAAHA! Its soooo genius!"? Now granted, "Normal" in SWBF2 isn't too bad, but there needs to be as many options as possible.

I really hope Battlefront III will have the gamemodes I miss playing in Battlefront II, namely Hunt, Hero Assault, and space battles. I also hope a PC version of Battlefront III will come out at some point, maybe even with a functioning map editor!

They are probably playing on easy for the sake of the trailers. Again, if extreme difficulties are the only difficulty settings allowed that make the learning curve a learning cliff like in DoTA 2, I'm just not going to bother playing BF3 at all. DoTA 2 was one of the...*looks in PG rated dictionary for euphemism* absolute worst games I've ever wasted my life on because it was so hard.
