This is the 2016 version 1.0 of my old "The Old Republic" era mod for battlefront II, remade from scratch.
It is based on "the old republic" game and CGI trailers by Bioware. I hope you'll enjoy this remastered version of - probably - my most succesful mod. -Delta-1033

Thank you for downloading this mod made by me, Delta-1035.

This is the 2016 version 1.0 of my old "The Old Republic" era mod for battlefront II, remade from scratch.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ HOW TO INSTALL \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Unzip the "TOR" folder in your "[...]Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon" folder.

Be sure to have the unofficial 1.3 patch for bfII, otherwise the new era will not show up and you will not be able to play

The Old Republic "Remastered" v1.0 playable game modes:

-conquest on all the vanilla bf2 maps (exept for Geonosis and Hoth for now)

-hero assault on Mos Eisley.

-conquest on the custom map "Honogh: Crash site" made by

Each side has 4 basic units (rifleman, rocketeer, sniper & support); 2 special units and a hero unit available on every map.

Most of the weapons are inspired to the new EA's battlefront - no reload, overheat only.

On each map you'll be able to play as the old Republic army vs the Sith Empire army and their respective heroes.

It's great to see that it stays true to the original game. The basic setup of the classes, not a ton of units too choose from, nothing overdone but subtile instead, and the overheat of weapons instead of reload... that should have been in the original game for starters. The standard Old Republic skin looks great and I love the change in skin for the Mos Eisley, Kashyyyk and Yavin 4 maps.

Ofcourse Im just like anyone else with his own wishes/desires. In case you (ever) consider a v2 of the mod I'd like to see 2 grenades for the standard trooper instead of only 1 and I do miss the vehicles in some maps, even only 2 a side can do wonders for the experience of play.
I'd also like to see the Geonosis and Hoth maps featured. Could use the Mos Eisley skin on Geonosis and why not the standard skins for Hoth? But these two maps definitely should have vehicles added or they will be to dull to play.

Looks great, sounds great and fun to play! With vehicles added to some maps it would be amazing/outstanding.

Just got done playing a few rounds. I like this a lot! I hope you'll continue to work on this and improve it because a SWTOR mod is just what battlefront needs.

I do have 1 question though: Is this mod multiplayer compatible? I'd love to play this era with friends!

Oh, that's another story. Do your friends have the mod? Plus I'm almost sure you can't play mods with standard servers.

They don't, but when I attempt to create a server the SWTOR era isn't listed. As for mods with standard servers I wouldn't know, but most of the conversion pack stuff works just fine.
