curious. Does this work online with non-modded players? It seems like a large enough change.

Not bad when it works, but several times it has quit on me in the middle of a game. Don't know why, but it's wonky.

Where has it quit, and on which side?

Just wagering a guess, is it with the Empire? Then I guess it's the fault of the Incinerator Trooper. I will try to fix that but lowering the number of flames shot before overheating.

Yes there is a problem, when you play on a mod map, usually it let's you play as the side mod you have in place (except on mission maps)
but ! Something is wrong with the Empire, the Dark trooper is missing on such maps !

if you're PC ggctuk, try running the mod in SPTest and take a look at any errors that pop up. If you don't understand some of them, I think I know most of them.

The way it goes is I try to play as anyone on a normal map, and it either

A)freezes during load
runs fine for about a minute
C)plays ok if I'm lucky.

I hopes someone identifies why this thing is happeneing because from the few games I've played it's pretty cool.

Since I was stupid and I didn't back up my original files, I have to reinstall SWBF again.

That's because the original Dark Trooper ODF was broken (I could never fix it, it remained broken, it worked, but without any unit/jetpack sounds). I had to make a copy. The game will look for "imp_inf_dark_trooper", and mine is "imp_inf_darktrooper".

Aside from El Chupacabra, has anybody else had problems?

When I try to go to filefront and download it from the mirror, it gives a 404 (not found). Anyone know what's up with this? Is there anywhere else to get it?

FF Network is broken at the moment. It'll eventually be back up.

Alright, now that FF is back up I downloaded it and installed it, but when I open SWBF it quits unexpectedly. I double-checked the readme to make sure I installed it properly, and I did. Anyone know what's going on?

Odd, I'm not entirely sure. I recently reinstalled SWBF and got it working in one (I redownloaded the mod rather than recompiling it all). You need to replace ALL files.
