I've never heard of it either! I begin to think it might be specific to the Steam version of the game.

Upon trying to play Giftheck's new map 'Dune Sea Exchange' I was presented with a fatal error which read 'Could not open mission.lvl'.

I have not encountered this kinda error before, is this a known issue with the Steam version of SWBF?

It's looking great!

I spent an awfully long time on the SWBF (2015) map in order to get some kind of trophy, so it's a treat to see it so faithfully rendered in the original.

I don't think I've seen one out there.

The skin itself would be relatively simple, but you'd need a new model for the masked face + hood.
The body could easily use a generic Jedi body.

You are quite right to think this forum may skew a little towards SWBF1.

Historically, this place evolved from a community of Mac and PC folks that played the original title together (at the time of release, it was one of the better examples of a Mac + PC MP game).

I think the SWBF2 mod scene is definately worth looking into. It may initially seem quite saturated with content,  there's a lot of great stuff worth looking into.
