Good to see you chum

I expect many of us old timers have done a lot of ageing since the golden era of MP, so I wouldn't worry too much about it!

QuoteThese models were originally kitbashed by tirpider in 2012.

It took me (Unit 33) eight years to get around to producing some satisfactory skins due to forgetfulness.

SWBF1 has a significant lack of female models that may be utilised for different factions or units. My original request to tirpider was essentially an attempt to address this issue.

This model and skin pack includes four variations of a Rebel Marksman without a helmet.

The kitbash is a combination of the SWBF1 and SWBF2 snipers with Luke's SWBF2 hair sat on top. Two skins are included, being a pilot and an improved marksman.

It had a good run, I suspect development on the next Battlefield + covid has brought us to a more abrupt ending than some hoped, but i believe the devs really won back the player base with the excellent support post-launch.

If I recall correctly, the viewer is prone to displaying some textures incorrectly, you may need to a quick test in-game to check.

wsa30h, again I wish to remind you of our fantastic search function, a quick look showed me the following thread:
https://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=9668.msg100355#msg100355

I would suspect there have been other discussions too.

Surely it would be less time consuming for you to complete a quick search than create new threads?

wsa30h, please make use of the forum search function to ascertain whether an asset exists or not.

Because nothing in the sequels actually makes any sense.

Why didn't ghost Obi Wan distract Vader at every given opportunity? ... 'More powerful than you can possibly imagine', apparently means all Obi Wans ghost can do is deliver exposition to Luke.

Requests / Re: FC-1 Flechette Launcher?

Oho!

I have a copy of the Flechette packaged amongst Swamp Trooper assets... I have lost the readme, so I am not sure about the author.

The swamp trooper skin seems to have been edited by myself SEVEN years ago, so forgive me if I am hazy on the details.

Let me know if the asset works (attached below), and indeed if it looks like the Repsharpshooter one.
I have a few old weapon assets lying around, so let me know if you need anything else.

Really nice stories folks!

For me, I learned to use image editing software making SWBF skins. I also learned valuable lessons about artist - client relations when making textures to order for lots of different people.

What's that got to do with anything you ask?

Well, I've now been a full-time illustrator for 2 years, and I point to the SWBF community as a really important milestone in my career.

Possible, yet impractical as you lose mouse control for no reason.  It seems that it overloads into the mouse functionality after 5 eras.
I'm partial to the theory that modding in five eras causes the game to become sentient and attempt to take control of the mouse.
