I know master server are dead, but I want to play lan with my friends, I change compatibily to Windows xp service pack 3, I re installed it, but still not working.

If you tried all the fixes and ze still doesn't work try this:
If you have an intel video card it may be that your video driver doesnt have/support hardware TnL (hardware transform and lighting) in which zeroeditor needs to run properly.There's hopefully and easy fix: go to http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/3d_analyze/index.php and download "3D Analyzer" note you need admin privilages and winrar/7zip/winzip to extract the program. Once you open it click select and find zeroeditor.exe, than once its loaded make sure to check off under performance "force SW TnL" and click run, it should work. If it still doesn't work than try installing dnetfx1.1: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26.

If all else fails you can always right click on zeroeditor and change the compatibility settings to "windows xp service pack 3" or "windows 2000", and check off run as admin, or try updating your drivers, but I almost guarantee this will make ze run, good luck.
