Title: New player, tring to connect PS2 to Internet via Laptop (Wi-Fi) [Solved]
Post by: SolidSoul on April 23, 2017, 07:46:37 AM
Hey I'm new to the swbfgamers website, I've been playing Star Wars battlefront PS2 for a long time and now play online using the DNS server on PS2.

Anyways I have a friend who wants to join in on the PS2, but his router is nowhere near his PlayStation. Does anyone know a way for him to use his laptop to share Wi-Fi to the PS2 via Ethernet cable while still connecting to the swbspy DNS? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey thanks! I tested it and it works. I had already searched some of those sites bridging the connection does not at all.

The way that works is to share your Wi-Fi network and then just connect your Ethernet to the PC and PS2. Then

leave all your PS2 network configurations on auto accept the DNS for the SWBspy servers.

                                                                                                                                   Anyways thanks again!
