OK guys, sorry for getting this out so late...

I have drawn from a hat and the next map to be played is...Yavin IV!

This map does have two maps if I'm not mistaken (sorry, haven't played in a while). So, it will be played like normal. If each team wins a battle, than the planet will remain neutral. For a faction to win the planet, they must win both battles. Again, if you plan on attending, post here so either myself or Buckler can set up the teams beforehand and avoid confusion. If you could also post the faction you were originally with, that would be appreciated. There will still be a CC buffer map like normal where we can sort out the teams further so as to avoid confusion during the actual battle.

Buckler will host again, so the IP Address will remain the same. He has been a great host for all the matches in this tournament and I'm sure I speak for all SWBF players when I say thanks for your support man. We all really appreciate it. This wouldn't be possible without you.  :)

I hope we get another great turnout just like the last couple of weeks! If anybody could bring their clan/friends then please feel free to. The more people that show, the better. The date and time and all the other details will be worked out over this week. However, I would expect to have the match this upcoming saturday at 6 EST. But, this isn't set in stone yet even though this is the most likely date and time.

Again, sorry for the late post. I've been really busy keeping up with school and baseball.

Thanks guys, and I'm looking forward to another great week of SWBF!

SWBF 1 and 2 Tournaments / SWBF War - Week 7 - Hoth
February 10, 2011, 04:59:57 PM
I have drawn from a hat and the next map to be played is...Hoth! (There you go CT  ;))

Contrary to other maps, this planet only has one battle. There will be no second chances for the team that loses so fight your hardest! Again, if you plan on attending, please post here along with the team you play for so we can avoid confusion during the actual battle. The teams will be worked out on the CC buffer, like normal.

Buckler will almost definetly host again, as he has been a great host for the past couple of battles. Thanks Buckler, we appreciate it  :).

The date, time, etc. will be figured out in the next week or so and we will have the battle not this weekend, but the weekend after that. Sorry for posting this late, I've been busy with school and baseball.

Again, looking for another great turnout! Also, Buckler, since you bring your clan so much can you get all of them to sign up to the site. It would bring great publicity if they could and hopefully they can spread the word about the tourney we're having   :tu:.

Thanks guys,

SWBF 1 and 2 Tournaments / SWBF War - Week 6 - Kashyyyk
January 23, 2011, 04:09:35 PM
I have drawn from a hat and the next planet is...Kashyyyk!

We will be playing both maps of Kashyyyk. There are two of them, so if both teams win one it will remain a neutral planet. Again, if you plan on attending, please post here that you will be present and what team you are on. This way, I can sort out the teams beforehand to avoid confusion during the actual battle. Last weeks battle worked out perfectly, partially because of the attendance of players and the avoidance of team confusion.

I'm pretty sure that Buckler will host again, but it never hurts to have a backup host. So, if anybody is interested in being a secondary host in the case of Buckler's absence, please post here. Be aware that you must be able to host Direct Connection games, not GameRanger.

The date, time, IP address, etc. should all be figured out here in the next week or so and, more likely than not, the battle will be this upcoming weekend at the same time as the previous wars. I hope that we can have another great turnout like last week (we had about 15-20 people and it felt like a legit battle  :D). Thanks guys, and be on the lookout for updates.

I have drawn from a hat and the next map chosen is...Tatooine!

If you can and would be interested in hosting, just shoot me a PM. I would greatly appreciate it. The time, date, IP etc. will all be figured out and posted as soon as I can find a suitable host.

We will play both maps as previously stated and the teams will be worked out on the CC buffer. To make this easier though, I would like everybody who is planning on attending to post the team that they're on. This way, I can sort out the teams more evenly and efficiently before the buffer so that we can have a more organized game. Thanks guys, let's have another great turnout!

SWBF 1 and 2 Tournaments / SWBF War - Week 4 - Bespin
December 24, 2010, 02:12:21 PM
Hey guys, this is Bac again. BD has officially given me permission this time to run the SWBF War in his place and he will post below that he has as soon as he can. Again, this will be ran the exact same way as BD said it would and there will be no changes from his original specifications. The teams, the rules, and the planets will all stay the same as they were. Refer to the SWBF Planetary Statuses for the up to date planets.

The planet picked for this week is...Bespin! We will play the two battles of Bespin as soon as I can find a suitable DC host. If you are interested (and are able to) to host a DC game, then please PM me on this site as soon as possible. If you would like to become a regular host, just shoot me some times when you can host and I will fit the war schedule to yours. Thanks all, and I hope that I can run this just as well as BD has.
