Is there any chance I can get a simple edit of the rebel engineer BF2 with the backpack removed? Preferably with a low res mesh without the back pack as well? Credit will be given in mod project

I was trying to download some of unit33 assets, including his musketeer, matrix skins, and I believe his 2nd asset pack that had skin pertaining to The predator and other misc reskins however a error 404 not found is what occompinies those file links now. anyone got a spare link to those please?

General / Anyone familiar with gary's mod models? (HELP)

Recently the group of the same name (411 Remnant) has created and paid for a gary's mod server that serves to act as a First Order Role playing server. We had gotten custom models and levels created for the enjoyment of all that visit our server so others can partake in first order storm trooper events. We are looking for someone who is familiar with editing and possibly putting gary's mod models in game.

Long story short we are willing to offer some substantial rewards to a talent who is familiar in the area of adding pre-exiting models into the game(Being gary's mod). A familiarity with obj and fbx is another useful talent as we have several texture artists who cant seem to get our 3D viewing programs(such as fbx viewer and nosies) to read new textures on pre-exisitng models.

Requests / Engineer Weapon kitbash/new model

Unfortunatly psyc0fred(one of the original battlefront devs) never got around to releasing this beauty of a weapon he called the "engineer rifle".  It would have acted as something of a repair tool and personal weapon. If at all possible would anyone be willing to model this or something similiar to it?

I already created a weapon odf and some custom effects for this weapon. All it needs is a neat model to go with it.
I will be sure to add all appropriate credits,  the model does not need to be super perfect. If you wanted to take some libertys with the design and just edit/kitbash the defualt fusion cutter with a matching rifle model I would not object.

Something I did for icemember that should have been released a month ago.

I seem to be having trouble munging a new all.lvl . When placed ingame, the enitre rebel sides had no textures. Though in the black sillhuate, at least the model changes seem to have taken place. It's wierd becuase ive used the side buidlers before and its just now giving me these problems. Ive done cleans and tried multiple munges, maybe its becuase im on a 64-bit system with Windows 7, who knows.



any sggestions?

If someone would be so kind, I woul like to make a small request to a talented kitbasher. I would like the googles on this model's helmet to be shifted over to his eye/forhead area like he has put his goggles on.
Any help would be greatl appeciated and credited

Empire Rising

It has been five years since the formation of the Galactic Empire. All remnants of the old republic have been torn down
and a new stronger order has taken its place. With our exhualted emperor leading us into a era of peace and justice,
he needs an equally strong military to help him maintain it. Though a lot has changed since then, one thing has not...our will
to fight. For a galalxy that clearly needs order, it is us who will strike our hand and answer her plea.

In a nutshell Empire Rising is a small era mod aimed to deliver a more arcade style type of gameplay
deeply inpsired by Battlefront 1. It also serves as a modding portfolio for not only myself, but
for other talented modders such as Republic commando and Unit33 of SWBFgamers. I had worked on
this project for a little over 8 months and since then it has gone through a lot of changes. I feel comfortable enough
with the progress to show you ladies and gentlemen what I have been cooking up.

What you can expect (This varies in the Beta build):
-Battlefront 1 inspired set ups and gameplay proporties
-New voice work for most units
-New Weapon Icons
-New effects and models by various modders

[spoiler]Q: Just five classes??? Why not more dude?

A: Becuase I wanted to keep it simple. This gives me room to makes changes quicker and focus more on gameplay. Plus this allows me to make the file
size much smaller and more convienant for you guys.

Q: Do you have heroes planned?

A: Hereos are pretty neat, though that was not my focus coming into this project. If it were to be highly requested it would be a possibilite.

Q: Any new maps planned?

A: Its something I really haven't considerd. Granted if that were to become a thing, it would only be one map
with a reasonable size range similiar to the tantive 5. Smaller maps usually are the best in my opinion.[/spoiler]

Trandoshan weaponary has always been a fascination with me. I thought by making a public request that this could be shared with others as well. Im looking for someone to model this nice looking weapon for an upcoming mod update. The modeler will be credited , any help would be greatly appreciated.

Requests / Possible rebel terrorist model

I could have sworn I had seen a rebel terrorist model that used the sith head(bald guy head) from SWBFII and the Rebel vanguard body from SWBFII as an asset. I could have been mistaken but the only version I can find is the one with the Sith head(bald guy) and the SWBFII rebel soldier body from the terra strife assets.

Im looking for this munged animation "AnimationBank       = "lightsabre". If anyone can provide either the location of the munged file that has this animation I would be most grateful. I can't seem to find it with in the side builders ive donwloaded.

Hey guys! Me and another modder were curious about the idea of getting something like Bf1's shading and lighting in Bf2. Has this ever been done? and if not, is there a link for BF1 shaders so that we can experiment with the idea since the Bf1 mod tools came with so little leaving some of those out.
