SWBF 1 Will Not Patch To 1.2

This is quite odd ... I bought the English DVD version of SWBF 1 a short while ago, and when I installed it, the game version reported as 1.1.2.2; when I attempted to patch to 1.2 (also English), I was greeted by an error message stating that SWBF could not be found and that I needed to reinstall from the original CD. Note that it said "CD", though my installation media is a DVD.

What is the workaround for this? Is there one?

If you own the DVD version, it is already at 1.2.

No patch needed and it won't let you if (when) you try.

What you want to check is the upper right hand corner of the screen when you press Multiplayer.

Also, if you have Jabba's Palace, it is 1.2.

I can confirm it's labelled somewhere as 1.1.2.2, and elsewhere as 1.2, I also have Jabba's palace (which really confused some friends of mine since they didn't think it came out for PC )

Although I hadn't tried installing the patch since, as you said, I had the non "Best of" DVD version.
