I love all the Mods that have been made and I am trying to make my own rogue one maps. :tu:

I open BFbuilder and I make the files, I've made scarif so far. But when I try to run Zero edit, it says runtime Error.

Do you know what's happening???

Hi,  Press the edit button again after you have closed the pop up window. After one or two new starts it should work. I think this error happens more often in newer Windows -versions. Gl Triops

My Windows is Windows 7.

I tried pressing edit about 20 times in a row and nothing happened.
And it also says edit not implemented yet when I try to edit a side.

in the 02-readme.txt file of BfBuilder- folder psychofred wrote about BFBuilder Pro:

"...Creating a new side automatically creates an empty sides folder structure
and edits the appropriate munge file for the side to be included in the munge.
Importing a side imports an existing side from the Assets folder and updates
the apprpriate files required to include it in the munge. Edit sides does not work
yet
..."
I dont know a version on which that works. Looks like psychofred has never impelmeted it. The only way is to use the other two buttons and edit/copy the msh-, odf-, req-files by hand with xsi or similar or an text editor.

So how does Sereja edit his sides?

They are text files.  Edit them with notepad.  No need for anything fancy.

Is your BFBuilder Pro.hta file on the following location on your Computer?:
C:\LucasArts\BFBuilder
If it isnt, it could make many problems.

I moved BFbuilder into LucasArts and It still says runtime error when I launch ZE.

Zero editor run time error is a very common problem.  Unfortunately, exactly what causes it is not understood.  Sometimes using a different video card will make it work.  Sometimes, using *older* video drivers will make it work.

If it doesn't work, there isn't anything you can do, as far as we know.  You can search this forum and GameToast for this same issue.  It has been going on for years.

Also, look for that error and possible solution here in this thread

I've already got BoPC fix. I will try it again though.

I just realized mine are in C:\Program Files (86)\Lucasarts\BFBuilder. I'm moving them now. :tu:

I have same problum.
for me my PC just wont run it.
but i guess i don't really have time to do that anyway.

if you give us your video driver info we might be able to help more.

I think ZERO edit is highly depent on the right video card and driver.
altho i have no idea what cards and driver works for it and what does not.
also do you have a video card?
or just using the on board video.

sorry if you don't under stand me.
my English is not very good.

good luck to you.

I'm not 100% sure if I even have a video card and, if I do, I don't know what type it is.

I will try and find out. ::)

Interesting, I had the same issue two years ago but I somehow managed to fix it, have you tried to mess up with the compatibility settings on Windows 7 ? If I manage to figure out how I fixed the issue I'll let you know.
