We have receiced several mails asking to remove the registration requirement to download the SWBFSpy patch, but I want to explain publicly why we do not want to do it:
- We want to keep track of the amount of downloads the files get.
- We can't vouch for files which are not uploaded in this forum. Files uploaded somewhere else could be corrupted.
- If we get to improve the patch by adding features (e.g. the leaderboards), it would be helpful if the client is registered here.
- In case of important events such as a masterserver maintenance, we'd post about it only here.
