Yes!  Look for the long-awaited release of the classic Grand Theft Auto Trilogy (Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) for Mac - most likely later this year.  We'll have much more info and a proper announcement soon.  But, yes, in case you were wondering, that is a world exclusive from Asked and Answered.

I lol'd when I saw that.

GTA IV has insanely deep system requirements on PC and there isn't even AA support. I highly doubt a playable mac port is possible. Mac ports have a history of framerate issues so I don't expect GTAIV on Mac for quite some time.

As for the original GTA games, I'm excited to try out Vice City and San Andreas again. Both of them had a good story and great voice actors to make their respective environments come alive (for its time). While they didn't have great shooting mechanics, it would be great to visit those games once again.

Actually thinking about it, time has REALLY passed by quickly. I remember when San Andreas got banned for a while for the Hot Coffee mod. It's surprising to hear that it is now considered a classic game.

It would be decent of them to allow custom resolutions on the new mac port. I didn't take the 640x480 resolution too kindly.

I have to say, this is probably one of the best games ever made (for western genre)
