Just realized I never added to this thread. Huh.

Well, in any case, I will also give blanket permission. All I ask is that if any of my stuff is used, please credit me  :tu:

Couple days late, but welcome to the site!

A lot of these turrets are going to have things like .msh.option files and other assorted things. Make sure you're getting all the additional files as well, including the .tga's. It may also be worth checking your .LUA's to make sure it's calling the TUR side.

My experience with BF2 doesn't extend beyond space, so perhaps there are others here that can give better advice.

Best bet would be to download the Mod Tools here on the site and follow Led's tutorial on editing stock maps.

Give me a sec and I'll link them below.

EDIT: Links.

That's...actually really useful! Great job! This is especially useful for me since I love having local teams on my maps  :cheer:

I'm pretty sure there's an LUA command you can add to your script so the AI won't get out of vehicles once they're inside. I don't know if there's a way to get them to continue to get inside of them though once the reinforcement count hits that critical point.

An alternative solution that I found while I was working on my Kashyyyk: Village map is that, in your LUA files, if you change the relationship between 2 factions to where one is neutral, the CP will appear white.

So let's say you have teams X and Y. In your LUA you could set SetTeamAsNeutral(X, Y) so then, when playing as team X, command posts held by team Y will appear as white.

I don't really think this solves your problem but it is one way to get CP's to appear as white. In my experimentation the icons also held and looked fine. Hope this helps in some way.

SWBF1 Modding / Re: how to localize two local teams ?
September 21, 2019, 12:36:11 PM
AFAIK this isn't possible. SWBF1 only allows 1 "local" team name for teams 3, 4, etc. I could be wrong but I've never found a way around this.

It should be able to, so long as you set the memory pools high enough. I'm sure somebody has tested the limits of this already, but I can't think of any posts I've seen.

Oh no, it appears I'm late to the festivities!  :slap: NEVERTHELES! Happy birthday SWBFI!

To your question, I never got into SWBF1 multiplayer until VERY late in the game, by which point most players had already mvoed on to other games. We're talking like 2014-2015 late. I don't remember very many of the people back then, though I'm sure a few of them are still around.

I still play SWBF1 on a regular basis, although with college and going on to graduate programs, I haven't had much time to play SWBF1, new games, work, and school. It's part of the reason why I haven't put out any mods in quite a while...

Hopefully I'll get back into it at some point, but SWBF1 will always hold a special place in my heart

I love it! It's above and beyond better than 1.0! My only issue is that the CIS hero is ... underwhelming, hardly ever getting any kills. I guess it makes sense, as a battle droid, but it's a shame to see Tarfull single-handedly wipe out droids and take up the spotlight.

I've had games as well where Tarfful barely gets any kills. A lot of factors contribute to these outcomes, but it varies game to game. Thanks for the review, glad you approve!

Could you post your LUA and ODF(s) by chance?

Welcome to the Battlefront  :mf:

I'm assuming you're going to be playing SWBF1 on the Steam version. Assuming I'm correct, you will need this. It will have everything you need!
