SWBF1 Modding / Done Modding for Now

Well now i have a job now, so ill have hardly any time to mod. Besides, batllefront is 6 years old and not many people play it anymore. There are tons of better games out there. well, it was fun modding with yall. I'll try to finish my clone campaign maybe, but after that im done.

I'm not sure if this is an appropiate question, considering it doesnt involve this site, but it deals with modding so i'll ask it: Is it just me or does filefront not let you post pics anymore when you submit files there?

As i finish each map for my clone campaign ill post them here. They're not being released in a certain order. Here's Jedi Extermination. It has modded episode 3 clones vs. jedi and takes place at Tatooine Mos Eisley

SWBF1 Modding / [HELP] Fixing Munge Error

I have a handful of old maps that seemed to have munge errors and wouldnt show my changes ingame. Is there a way to fix this? maybe by just copying a working munge.bat into the Datamodid folder? Or making new Datamodid folder and copying old world folder into it? I could really use one my geonosis maps that messed up for my clone campaign if it could get fixed.

SWBF1 Modding / [SOLVED]Texture Problem

I use GIMP to make all my skins and usually works great, but some of the skins when i open them have transparency over the skin, and when i remove the transparency the normal color is gone. What should i do? I dont see how the transparency doesnt show up ingame. I guess i could just edit it with the transparency, although it would be harder to see what it looks like. I tried to have differnet colored mandolorians by putting in a line in the soldier odfs such as OverrideTexture      = "green_mando", but nothing changed.

SWBF1 Modding / [WIP] New Clone Campaign

I have started making a new Clone campaign. Im going to use a series mission maps and custom maps(if my maps dont crash). It wont follow the movies, but will have an alternate storyline. So far i have 1 mission done. Its storyline is order 66 was just sent out, but a few jedi have escaped the massacre and fled to Tatooine.

I intend on making my own little campaign for swbf1 using mission maps and custom maps. I just need to know how to change the LUA file to where you can only play as one team. Also, is it possible to have my series of maps that i intend on making into the actual game's campaigns part?

Last night i made some changes to my map and saved it, but when i opened my map today everything was completely out of place and needs rotating and all kinds of fixing! What could cause this and how can i fix this? UGH! every map i make messes up in some kind of way!

Well i made a new map called Tatooine: Canyon. I had originally just wanted to modify the shipped Dune Sea, but then i ended up make a completely different map. In zeroeditor the command posts from dune sea dont show up, along with several other objects, but when i tested my map the dune sea commandposts showed up, which messed up my map. Is there a way to fix this besides starting from scratch? lol the one map i make that doesnt crash ends up like this.

This is a mission map with Tuskens vs. Empire at Tatooine: Dune Sea. The Tuskens not only have rifles/ sniper rifles, but also have gaffi sticks that are deadly at close range. You can't see an icon for the tuskens, but just click on the empire icon and you will switch teams.

Released Maps and Mods / Hoth: Echo Base 2.0

This is an edited version of the shipped hoth map. It features much new content such as: Probe Droids, Wampa, four ATAT walkers (they wont respawn when destroyed), new tunnels, and destructable objects like bridges, barrels, and the millenium falcon. There  are few AI issues that i wasnt able to fix because it messed up and wouldnt let me change the map any more, so i was forced to release it early.

I have been working on editting the shipped hoth map. Everything was going great until suddenly my changes of the map wouldn't show up ingame. I remunged it to make sure that i did things right and still got the same result. Can anyone help me?

This not only has a new interface, but also has new aimers for the weapons, improved minigun, mines have slightly larger trigger radius and new color, health droids now both give you health and ammo, same with the ammo droid and heal and give ammo quicker, vehicle repair droid is now R2D2, command post capture time has been improved, has a free camera, and probably something else I forgot about. here is download link http://www.filefront.com/15859893/common.zip/ To install simply unzip it and go to your battlefront folder, then GameData, then Data, then _LVL_PC, then Common, then ENG and replace the common.lvl file there with the new one. I'm working right now on making a bunch of changes on the shipped hoth map. Here are some videos of it so far. NOTE: i just started on this, so there aren't a whole lot of changes yet. the rebel and emperial sides you see arent part of the map, nor the blood.

Is it possible to have 2 local teams in a map? I'm working on enhancing hoth and i want to have probe droids as 1 local team and wampa as another local team. here's something interesting in geonosis's LUA file: --  Local Stats

I made a space map and it worked fine, but now after i added more stuff to it and it crashes. ugh i knew this would happen. happens every time i make a map! well anyway, the bf log said this:
