I suggest that the site could get Skype links under people's profiles, that way we could meet and add eachother on Skype. This is kinda like the Steam or Gameranger links.

Seems a common trend, I have skype but like all of you say it gives out to much personal info and using a second account is not reasonable. Thumbs down to the idea. But if it gets 10 votes so be it :tu:

The thing to keep in mind is that you would be giving out your skype usernames to the internet at large. It is not something that I would want to do. To me, that seems more of an issue than an xfire or GR name.
Well. There isn't any more information you could find on my Skype profile than you could find on my SWBFgamers profile. But yes. Be careful with personal information.
