Laptop Troubles (again...)

Hey guys, I seem to have run aground with another laptop issue. Ok, so I want to play this game called Hawken (it's a mech shooter game, very nice), and I can run it, however there's a problem. I have the games settings on the lowest graphics settings, no background programs running, and it is extremely choppy still. I assume it has something to do with the graphics card (it recommends an ATI Radeon 5670 HD card), however I run an ATI Radeon 3200 HD card on my laptop. So, I'm wondering if you guys would know of any other way to get the game to run smoothly on such a laptop. And, if not, do you know of any cheap laptop GPUs? (Assuming that mine is a changeable one.)

Also, I know I've said them before, but here's the specs again if you need them to help you out:

CPU: AMD Turion X2 Dual-core
GPU: ATI Radeon 3200 HD
RAM: 8GB RAM
System info: x64-based, Windows Vista Home Premium

Quite simply there is no way to upgrade a laptop to make it be able to run a game. Best thing I can think of, grab this http://www.tommti-systems.de/go.html?http://www.tommti-systems.de/main-Dateien/files.html. (Click on the image of 3D Analyze)

Try using it to force small textures. You could also try disabling lighting, skipping pixel shader versions and forcing low precision pixel shaders.

Best I can think of if you really want to play the game. It won't look pretty and is a bit hacky, but it possibly could help you get a few more FPS out of it.
