What your rank?

TBF, I'd rather just get a bunch of people on tf2, or Garry's mod, or workshop custom maps and have fun. There are some awesome custom maps like football, maze runner, parkour,

My rank is Gold Nova 1 at the moment, but I've been trying to push up recently.

I totally would be interested in playing GMOD and TF2 with you, I just know I'm not as good at either of them simply because of how much I don't play either. I use GMOD for SFM. lol

Sure thing, add me on steam and invite me whenever you want to play, whatever the game is!
My steam id is ykwn. I'm nova 3 right now on CSGO.
unlike someone else (points finger) I do not think our steam group should be limited to SWBF only  ;)
Good idea. I think that will work just fine. :)
I sent you a friend request. Do as you will

I left already that group so that Lion could post whatever he wants, making fun of people (or not) because of people's tastes, or for whatever reasons he will retract afterwards, about any games he wants. But like I said previously, SWBFGamers is for SWBF, not for other games.

We're not devoting the group to other games, just a few of us who want to use the name for other games.
All of us are obviously devoted to SWBF (in some manner). SWBFGamers is just the community; which unless the people who run the community have a problem with Branching out... We're not really posing a problem. Right?

I'm terrible at CS, but pretty experienced in TF2 (but not nearly as much as Sleepkiller).
So I'll obviously be down for TF2 action.

I'm a Silver Elite Master (:smurf:) in CSGO but I play more GMod and Halo Online on PC.

I'd be gladly playing TF2, but be warned that I might have played it only five times in my life so far :d
The way I see it Anyder, The SWBFGamers website is indeed focused on discussions about the game. But our Steam (which is a social platforme that handles multiple games) group aims to gather those SWBF players and to encourage us to play together. If you have any problem with a player, you can hadle it with him, I do not think cutting yourself from interacting with the Steam group is the best way to get out of the harassment you seem to permanently face.

The website is focused on SWBF like the group, cause otherwise it'd be called MultiGamers. The group was created to gather everyone from this website and so that we could chat (or at least that is what I thought). When xfire was still working, nobody except Led was admin of it and started suggesting everyone to play other games so that the activity on swbf1/swbf2 would get reduced. I find that quite selfish tbh.
I dont have any problem with any player, the problem is that some kind of addicted to aspartame and fluoride started making fun of me cause he's an ignorant, and I do not think he's admin of the steam group for that.
Although Led told him to change it, that guy "retracted" from what he said (just in one post) but still added a "xD" as if he found it funny. And that is basically the reason of why I left.

Alright well that is your opinion. Mine is that in a group destined to chat and communicated, we should be allowed to chat and communicate about whichever game we want and try to play other games togethers when we're not playing SWBF. Xfire groups did not prevent members from playing/talking about other games, and I hope it will stay that way.

I do not care about what u post or dont post lol
U can talk from whatever u want as long as u do it with respect and not making fun of people or laughing of ur own ignorance. I do not care if u play other games, but the group, IMO, should be dedicated to SWBF1 mostly, and not to another games

Sounds awesome! TF2 is a great game. Its getting an ELO system soon (rank system). As for the anyder comment, i asked what miw was. He replied "That is Motionless in White. Please bro, don't laugh of ur own ignorance...". Apparently i should have known its some gothic US band or something lol. Mentally, he seems to think everyone should know who miw are. I dunno, maybe in Spain they have a big gothic following, but in the UK they are unheard of.

All Hail Admin33!

Chameleon, I suggest we should put a list of the interested players and the games they seem to play, that way we could have a quick look at who we can contact for which game.

there are A LOT of super fun csgo custom maps you can play and im urging to play some! football, maze runner, dust 2 night, awp battles ahh its so fun!!!! i think tf2 during the day and then garry's mod in the evenings (its a more evening game for relaxing) this weekend?!!

its great we have a group with everyone already on for this stuff! wouldnt it be silly if we just left it inactive...we would miss out on a lot of fun! I think LED has a tf2 server up.

I'll admit, I have been away for ages playing other games, but I do have Gmod and TF2 (the latter I never touch really). I and several friends of mine (most of whom are fellow Canadians), have been Gmodding it up on our own Hamachi servers, mostly because we really don't want to go through the headache that is port-forwarding (and because I'm the only one in our group who's the most technologically-skilled).

If we are going to start up an actual Gmod server though, I'm on board with the idea. It'd give my friends and I some more flexibility in that sense (considering when we do Hamachi we have to start up a single player world, and then connect to each other's Hamachi IP, depending on who hosts).

there are other servers out there we can use for prop hunt/TTT. for sandbox i recommend your own

I'm up for hosting Hamachi servers, as I too have Hamachi. However, I'm sure there is somebody out there with a more powerful computer and/or internet who would prefer to host instead.

I have tf2, but you will have a hard time dragging me out of NZ/Aussie servers  ;)
Also I don't play it all that much cause swbf1 gameplay is better imo.

There are many servers for prop hunt/TTT, the problem is finding a half-decent empty one (considering the community of Gmod isn't quite exactly "welcoming"). We prefer to stay with our own servers over pub servers purely because it's a rarity to find good people on a Gmod server. However if this community did have a Gmod server, I can guarantee we'd be on there most likely.

Though I do agree with you on sandbox servers (going through the pain of downloading each other's mods before joining).

I didn't think of it until now, but is anyone interested in playing Unturned as well? If you're not aware of it- Unturned is a free to play Zombie survival that puts a more blocky spin on the genre. So, basically it's DayZ meets Minecraft, except 98% less Cubes.

Another game my friends and I Hamachi as well. Though I think we'll sort out our own thing with that (since we often just use server commands and mods to get ourselves some basic gear and duke it out). More often than not we'll be spawning in MRE's and ammunition the whole time than anything else. :P

I would be willing to try and play Unturned online with you guys if you will have me. The internet at our place is very slow, but I can play certain games like Minecraft online, you never know I might be able to play Unturned too.

I assume it would be the newer version of the game that you have to download manually right?

Survival games are really awesome! I prefer basic survival (wood, clothes, fire -> metal, armour guns) than spawn with guns and shoot others... Although h1z1 is pretty funny and I like zombie survival.

Rust is great but it's expensive now, I got it free through humble bundle.
Killing floor 2 is nice. It's hard ish. Just very gory.

Unturned is funny too

Hey guys!
My computer isn't physically (hardware) strong enough to run any of these games smoothly anymore. I'm currently in the process of selling some old junk I have lying around and eventually I will get to selling this computer and an old laptop, so I can raise the funds for a new Gaming Laptop that will also be able to carry me through college.
I'm open to playing any of these games until then, but let's be honest, I'm not going to be as helpful as I once was. Lol

So... maybe I should see about getting some playdates scheduled? Do Weekends work best for you guys?
Title: Re: CS:GO / TF2 / GMod Team?

Weekends work best for me. The place I live in during the week does not have a satisfying internet connection to play games.

My computer hit an even lower low, tonight. Of course, what bad timing.

As soon as I come back with a new laptop, I'll start scheduling events.
For now, anything newer than 2007 I won't even be attempting to run on this computer.
I'll be setting up this computer for more work-orientated stuff.

I apologize...

Just felt like bumping this idea. I don't particularly recall a whole lot of playtime (especially not with me involved :P )
I got a new computer on Black Friday last year so I can finally enjoy these games without much of any problems at all.

If anyone is still down for this and I may not have you added on Steam, be sure to click the logo under my avatar
