I'm sure the amount of people who can play without lag is dependent on the server system itself, and not really on the game.

And the client connection

Won't it be really laggy if lots of people join?

Idk if it is hosted on a strong server with good bandwidth it shouldn't be a really big problem I think
Bf1942 has 128 player servers too, I did not notice a lot of lagg on them. It can be different for swbf2 though

Lol, that's easy to do...

From many months ago ;)

Swbf1?

Anyway I am having some problems with finding the addresses in the .exe (atm it is done with a memory editor)
I do not have a lot of experience in assembly

Hey I recently bypassed the 64 player limit on the server .exe

Currently the max players is 80 other wise the client crashes but I am trying to fix that.

I do not know about SWBF2--you might try GameToast.com.  They have a large and active SWBF2 group over there.

Mm I can't seem to create an account there it says my email can't be used....
Anyway do you think they have a solution for it?

Edit: I used another email address and that worked Im now waiting for a reply.

Not that I know of.  The admin tools for the original SWBF are extremely limited.

If you are referring to SWBF2, they are better but not as good as modern games.

Sorry I ment swbf2, but is there a solution for swbf2 to make it restart itself when it is stuck?

This is a common problem.  Usually there is one player that keeps the map from changing.

You can boot each player and see if the map changes over after you boot that player.  If not, move on to the next player.  (Boot, not ban.)

It is called a "map hang".

I have never discovered exactly what causes this.

hmmm is there a way to make the server restart itself?

Hey all I noticed that my server sometimes goes from 40/40 players to 0 when a map changes. I discovered that It gest stuck when changing a map, does anyone else have this problem? Or knows a solution?

gamemaster works perfectly for me! It is indeed less trouble with gamemaster than with Gr/tu

In theory, yes.  Tunngle and Gamemaster work together, but Gameranger, if I remember right, is kind of weird with how it runs the games.

Stonecold has a way to run a standalone dedicated server on gameranger by using a batch file

Would it be possible to run gameranger + tunngle + gamemaster? At the same time?

There is also qtrackers solution:
65.112.87.186      gpcm.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186      swbfront2pc.ms6.gamespy.com
