Hi, hey How I can change the port of my SWBF1 PS2 server?

hi xCrISTiAhNx
there is no way to assign ports on this swbf1 ps2 server gui it will use the standard ports 3658,3659,3660 etc for hosting

Final documentation for DNS server settings for PS2 players of SWBF1 and SWBF2 attached.

See video for example entries on Windows Server 2012 R2 DNS setup

Don't believe everything you read on the internet

Hey, sorry I didn't let you know what happened.
After I updated the host file with the ip you gave me, everything started working properly.  My server appears in the lobby, and players can join.  Thanks a bunch again for doing this.  I've been very sad for the last few weeks, but now all is well in the Battlefront Universe.  ::)

Thank you all for your hardwork  :tu:  I'm available whenever needed for testing for the ps2. All is working for us for Dracula's server and my remote manager is working too without having to do any changes.

Good deal.

If you can, please use this DNS   74.91.125.138
to verify that it works (without christians)

I have a report from someone that it did not work, but christians did.

Thanks man

I tested 74.91.125.138 yesterday and it works for me too. I played all night using it.

Hey Led, I think something has changed on Sony's end with the games on PS2 and we might need to change some values in your DNS server.

I am hearing that DNAS is down now and when I tired to play on my PS2 earlier today I was getting a DNAS authentication error.

I think these need to be changed:
gate1.jp.dnas.playstation.org 203.105.78.162
gate1.us.dnas.playstation.org 203.105.78.163
gate1.eu.dnas.playstation.org 203.105.78.164

To these new addresses:
gate1.jp.dnas.playstation.org 149.56.101.45
gate1.us.dnas.playstation.org 167.114.40.5
gate1.eu.dnas.playstation.org 167.114.40.4

From my understanding 203.105.78.16x was a Sony DNAS server that recently stopped responding to requests from the DNS. Someone has made a workaround thing we can use for now. We might need to change these 3 numbers agains at some point. I'll keep an eye on the ps2onlinegaming website.

You can read about it here:

EDIT: Everything is working fine again after these changes were made. Thanks so much as usual Led.

Hey guys,
firstly thanks for putting everything up, it seems to work fine for american PS2 players.
I'm from an european team and we struggle to get past the DNAS Authentification. We've tried 74.91.125.138. & 186.34.212.90 as DNS, both static and auto IPs.
The weird thing is that two german players of our team (including me) have no problems to get through the DNAS test and join servers, while two dutch, one british and one finnish player can't.
Some of them are getting a -612 error, some a -8xx error. I guess we're all using the same version of the game so the disc ID shouldn't be a problem?
We were also able to play in summer using the old DNS without any problems.
As I mentioned it seems to work fine for american players, I haven't heard of any problems there.
Any idea how we can solve this problem?

Thanks

Hi Phantom,

You might try the folks at
http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/
as they are the ones that have come up with the DNAS replacement server.

Also, there may be some hex edits you can do to bypass the DNAS check.
