Any word yet? Did the DNS change again?
it is working here re check your network config. i just played online 186.35.112.91 for second leave blank or use your router default gateway # . reboot your router/cable/dsl boxes it might be stuck in dns time warp.

My server only forwards to the replacement servers for DNAS. If they changed, I don't have the information. PS2 online gaming appears to be down at the moment. That would be the place to check.

Led, I'm gonna try to get you that info as soon as I find it. I think they DNAS numbers changed without me realizing and Christian is now hosting them.
JackDaniel if you can ask Christian for me what the new DNAS numbers are that would be really helpful. These aren't the numbers we use in our PS2s, they are something different. They should look like this:

Is that DNS or DNAS? If it is DNAS, there are usually 3 servers: US, EU, JP regions. Can you find out more information?
Led and me tried it as DNAS assuming it's US and it's not working. Led think it's a DNS number and not a DNAS and I think too after testing it as I used it as DNS and got through DNAS authentification but the server list is empty so seems this DNS doesn't allow swbf so we're in the hunt to find the owner of this DNS so we can get the DNAS address ^^

Try it and see if it works for serving SWBF, please.

If it works, then he is pointing SWBF1 and 2 to our masterserver and taking care of DNAS. If that is the case, that it great. I can stop running my DNS then (but the master server will remain on-line for at least 10 years) so we can host and play PS2 games as long as XChristianX's DNS/DNAS server works.

Regarding the DNAS replacement server address, may be by hooking your PS2 to your computer or using your emulator , and then using wireshark, it could be possible to find the address of the DNAS replacement server?
I will try with the emulator, and if I find something, I will post it here.
As for the github file for implementing a DNAS replacement server Someone called VerditaBR at ps2onlinegaming tried and had sme issues which seemed to be fixed. May be we can get in touch with in to know if he was successfull or not in geting it working.

Thanks for stopping in. It may be possible to use wireshark, but really, someone just needs to tell us. It would save a lot of work.
In any event, if one DNS server is working, then that is good enough though, and I won't expend resources getting it working again. :cheers:

hi Mike i used the game dvd swbf1 and got the wireshark cap from router/ps2
I put that number into my DNS. You are welcome to try it.
The reliability of the DNS will be controlled by the reliability of Christian's DNAS though (and I plan to turn my DNS off December 22nd 2017) so you may want to promote Christian's DNS instead.
hi Led i just tested it i was able to make a new config using the network startup disc using dns# 74.91.125.138 and making the second dns # my router default gateway. it works great :tu:
I was about to ask Cristian for the new DNAS on my fb group. He speaks English but not fluently so I was about to write something and have one of my members translate it in Spanish. I'll try the swbfgamers DNS this week and will also ask Cristian if it's the same later this week or next week. Pretty busy these last days. I'll have more time in May.

Hey guys, all servers, even the paid ones froze on swbf2 ps2 yesterday and Sunday. Any ideas? Led if you could reboot the master server, maybe that would help? And ckecking the logs of the swbfspy swbf2 ps2 server. We played on swbf1 after all the freezes yesterday and it didn't crash.

There is no need to reboot the MS right now IMO.

I have restarted manually the gameserver and it seems to run fine. Let me know if u can see them now.

The SWBFSpy Master Server has been down tonight for a few hours, though the game servers are still up on gametracker.
I've rebooted the MS and the servers are back on line again.

A couple of people had the same problem joining ps2 swbf2 around midnight ET too. Seems it's back on now as I see players online :tu:
