I'm not sure why but neither bf1 or 2 will let me save.  They are installed on a new machine running windows 8.1, and using the no disc option for the gamemaster fix. 


I uninstalled and re-installed and found the launcher will not run, but the exe will. This also failed to save.
I also attempted to use the saved data from my other pc and this failed to load what am i to do?

Its my first time because my life is well, rather dull. 


My upcoming absence from Battlefront and Xfire is because I will be in Georgia for work for at least 3 weeks...possibly more. 


While i'm there I will be building walls from blocks at a nuclear power plant.  Who knows I might come back with a superpower

I disabled my fire wall and did a re-install of the game neither worked.   I am not using a wireless router and am logged in as an admin. 


Does anyone know what "NA" means? is it a simple acronym for North America?  or is not applicable?

Led was talking about this the other day in-game and mentioned we haven't had one sense the server shut down.

I'm currently using a GE Wired Optical mouse I picked up at Target for $8.  Until recently I didn't know gaming mice existed so did a little research and have a few questions for anyone who knows:


1.  Is a gaming mouse worth the investment?
2.  If so which one do you recommend? (with out breaking the bank)
3.  What is DPI?
4.  Whats your preferred grip style?

So I got a new laptop (thanks to my sister-in-law) and installed SWBF.  According to the system analysis the graphic card lacks Transform and Lighting,  but was able to install anyway.  Every thing seems to work fine with the game except for when I join a server.  It goes through the loading process and then  I get "connection to host lost" 

It also works fine when creating a server.

I have tried turning of the fire walls and installed  Gamespy to see if that was the problem.
I also Installed the Updates for the graphic card and still the issue persists.

When trying to open ZE I get an error saying I must have SWBF installed to use the ZeroEditor, yet it's installed in my (C:) drive in the Program Files with the disc in the driver

I  was looking for this map and could not find it.  Has it been released for this game?  i know it has for bf2 but can't find it for bf1.

Is it possible to get the Drodekas to strafe left or right insted of just turning on an axis?   I was not sure if its something i over looked in the control setting or if its something that would need to be modded; if possible.  It might also be the controler I use for I can't seem to get the mouse and keybord down.

It would sure make playing peek-a-boo alot easer.

This may seem like a silly question but, what does one benefit from downloading a patch?  Like the ones xfire offers for this game.   

I have Windows 7 but BF2 is not compatible.  Is their anything that can be done?

What maps need to be downloaded in order to play on this server?

Iam trying to install Republic Camando and it says it requires Pixel Shader 1.1 which i dont have.  I tryed to find it on the web but i keep runing into dead ends.  What can i do?

it does'nt seem i have the programs to access the downloads on this site.  if anyone knows of a free program(s) that would allow me access to the downloads it would be much obliged.

hey,  i just picked up this 3 game set from target with SWBF I SWBF II and Republic Camando.  I have played both games for a long time on the PS2,  but i still suck  .   i have a lot of fun playing     and will most likley see some of you on the battle field.
