"as far as I know"  i think
He is referring to gamemaster, a 3rd party master server set up. Are you referring to gameranger?

Ah yes, my mistake. I was meaning game ranger

Yes, download this, uncompress, and then run the installer program and it will put everything in the right spot *

*(assuming windows version past XP and that you installed the game on the C: drive)

Thanks!

I played for the first time in months yesterday. It was a nice surprise to find 14 of us on Cloud City. That was at 3 EST.

That is encouraging!

There's still people playing AFAIK. The GameMaster server was recently updated, have you made sure you've got the latest version?

What do most players use to access online game? When I stopped playing there was a patch you edited into your .exe which allowed you to play without third party progams like tunngle or gamemaster. Never heard of AFAIK

Hey all, been pretty much MIA for the past year or so. Where is the game at this point? How much is left? Is there anyone that still plays?

I sure do miss the old days  :bye: :bye: :bye: :bye:

You were able to retrieve your own screen shots and videos but not anymore. Most of us use Steam now.

Alright, Thanks Bomber

Edit: How about taking screenshots and vids?

Picking up on this a bit late, could someone summarize this thread for me? Xfire is completely gone? Is it possible to retreive pics/vids? Do we have a standard go to for instant messaging now? thanks :tu:

No  ;)

We will still play, but it is getting harder get full servers.  Nothing bring more people on a server than having a bunch of people on them.  But I do expect that this will be the last "big event"  ::)

That's good! I know I'm not active any more but a piece of me nearly died when I read it.  :moo:

Our goal is to
have one last blast of filled servers.

Does that mean no one will play again?  :bye:

So at what point do we ditch tunngle and go with gamemaster? If we don't switch properly it could cost us more of the community. I think it could be equally harmful to have both running and end up with half the active players on gamemaster and the other half on tunngle.

Public Square / Re: Star Wars & Off Topic

Not to be discouraging, but if anything we really should be discussing boards to close. I haven't been very active lately and when I stop in from time to time I find it difficult to navigate through them all. I feel I'm always missing somthing. I guess in this case it is possible to be so organized things become more complex and frustrating to navigate through.
-my two cents

I thikk its enough with just 3 wars.
212 picks sides and everything on 1, and 1.0 picks sides and everything on another one.
In case of draw, Oven can just choose a map and will randomly assign each clan 1 side.
I find this fair.

I like Anyders idea, give each team one last hoorah.

SWBF 1 and 2 Tournaments / Re: ICW3 Radar Usage

Mod map to stock map would work. Personally I think radar is most annoying in a small map. Like the tech center, on larger maps it can actually help the flow of the match. Although determining small and big maps would undoubtedly cause more confusion than just labeling mod maps as radar and stock as no radar.

The biggest thing now is deciding what maps are and what maps are not allowing radar. The best way would seem to vote on it. Or come up with some system as to how large or small the map is allows or disallows radar.
