could someone explain me how you can create an own side
if it takes long ,... .
I can't munge sides on my mac but maybe (if it isn't too difficult)
I can try it on the computers of the local library.

I warn you I really am a n00b in computers .

In order to munge you need the ODF files and the executables that compile or munge the files.  The mod tools from Pandemic are pretty huge.

I would not recommend using a library computer, as you would have to install a lot of stuff on it.
Can you get some one to give you an old PC with windows XP on it?

Such things are nearly trash these days, but it would be perfect for modding SWBF!

This is the model of computer that I mod and play SWBF on:

Don't believe everything you read on the internet

I've read the tutorial and I think I get it.
But I don't understand how I can modify the character itself.
Giving the clonetrooper a green costume for example or replacing it with a gungan.

Giving a trooper a green costume would be a skin mod; one way to do that is covered in this tutorial:

(This method does not use XSI, but it is rather crude because the image is 2-D that gets wrapped around the 3-D character.)

Putting another stock character on a map is a mission mod, covered by this tutorial:

Until you get the mod tools, all of this will seem very theoretical.  Get the mod tools, play around with it, go over the tutorials yourself, and things will start to make a lot more sense.
