The mod I wish to find and download is in this video. There is a download link in the description of this video, unfortunately the file it links to is not actually the mod being played in the video. The link in the video's description allows you to actually download a single enormous pack of mods, in twelve separate zipped chunks, totaling at 8.02 GB (not a typo ) anyhow I downloaded the first chunk and it contained a .rtf showing all the mods in that come with the pack. I know almost all of these mods and researched the ones I didn't. Regrettably the mod in the above video (I think called called EA's Battlefront) isn't on this list. I looked elsewhere, found this vid:

It's pretty clear just watching the vid that its the same mod, the one I'm looking for. Once, again, the uploader said the mod dl link was in the video's description. Unfortunately that link actually goes to another youtube vid with has a link in it's own description to get a completely different mod. There were some other links in the description though, I tried those out and they appeared to go to social media and whatnot. I could have missed something though, it's a spanish channel and I don't speak spanish.

At any rate, I've rambled enough. If anyone on this forum knows of this mod and/or where to get it, please do tell, big thanks in advance!

Ayyyyyy anyhow I actually found the mod I was looking for, the one in that video. And drumroll... IT ACTUALLY WAS LINKED TO IN THE DESCRIPTION! It just turned out to be part of this friggin huge pack of mods. The reason I missed it when searching through the list of mods that came with the pack is because it had a different name than I had thought. Anyhow, I'm on like 3 hours of sleep because I was playing all that's night it's absolutely incredible, will definitely follow up with some screenshots and stuff in this thread and maybe the screenshots thread. Anyhow, merry Christmas and congrats on persevering in playing and modding this lovely game. It's certainly come quite the distance.

This is the model for the storm trooper as seen in vanilla in 2005.

This is from the mod I've been going on about, called Rebel Assault, I'll link to its creator(s) on moddb when I get back home in a few days. I just marvel at the progress this game has made when I view these images.

The last Model Is the DICE model from Star Wars Battlefront (2015), you can already find it here, but use it as your own risks......

Haha I know, but I see a good few dice character models in this mod. The shock trooper scout trooper, magma stormtrooper, and the sand trooper and I think some others too. I'll have to look through the credits for the mod and give them a shout out here because they did a great job getting the models set up with the soldier wireframe for this game, clipping and stretching and stuff during animations is pretty minimal.

I'm sorry but i do not agree. - Why?

Because this mod is the fu... :censored: ULTIMATE PACK

You can download a big package on a russian website, but I wouldn't recommend that. The author of this pack is modifing existing mods and only changes the models.

For exemple Ultimate Battlefront by Xavious (you can download the original release at Moddb: http://www.moddb.com/mods/ultimate-battlefront-the-clone-wars )

See this guy: http://www.moddb.com/mods/ultimate-battlefront-the-clone-wars/images/screenshots165#imagebox - it's the 607th EMP specialist trooper.

Now with the Utimate Pack:

As you can see here, the author changed the old model by this one from Deviss's assets release. The weapons are exactly the same . And after that we can see them saying "oh well it's our work...your comment is deleted"

They/he are/is doing this without any permission from modders, and already released models from the community

I think that you should look at the credits .rtf that comes with the mod. A number of modders appear to be credited in there, with links to their respective moddb and gametoast pages. I dunno about the other versions, I had 4.somethingorother and I just upgraded to 5.1. Both of those came with a document that gave credit to just about every modder that has something in the pack, sorted by mod. If it's the fact that he used their mods and changed them/edited them without permission, then I can understand that. But for what it's worth, I'm surprised that this hasn't happened earlier. How can you give the cold shoulder to what is undoubtedly the best thing to happen to this game since god-knows-when? Yeah, he did have to steal mods (which you know cannot be stolen as they are not property) to make it happen. I know I'll never understand your perspective, since I'm not a modder(in my field if your code is forked, with or without your permission, that just means you did a good job). But I say so be it, if you have an idea this good, nothing should get in the way of it's execution. Not even obstinate modders who find themselves unable to endorse your use of their work.

Quote from: MaveritchellOh, he gave credit! Well that's just fine, then. As long as he said he was stealing, it isn't stealing! That's like every video on Youtube that posts pirated content and says "all credit to the original creators." It's still wrong, dude.
Practically speaking, his credit list is too bare to be useful. It lists one name, and in compiling all these things, he's stripped out all the instructions/readmes/tutorials/credits we've packaged with our mods - all of which are comprehensive and list everyone that's worked on these. When this guy credits just "Maveritchell" for Dark Times, it ignores every one of the map authors that I worked with to add content to that mod.

Also you should read this: https://puu.sh/qZ1MH/ad517382b6.png (Made by Marth)

But yeah maybe we will never have the same opinion.

Well yeah. It's not stealing because mods aren't property. I said it before and I'll say it again, since it's the truth. I get that it annoys modders when the project they worked to create is used without their permission, but what you need to realize is that their permission isn't necessary. If you guys are unhappy with the way your projects are treated, you have every right to make a fuss, and make your voices heard. But what you need to see is that not everyone is obligated to listen. And that chart you posted is just flat out wrong (sorry Marth)because it would imply that you have any control over your mod whatsoever once it's uploaded in the public domain, like any website, at which point it belongs to whoever can get it. That's just how the internet works outside of legally licensed content like movies and songs etc, which are the property of their producers/publishers/whoever depending on the medium. The most you can to is ask that people respect your wishes in regards to what they do with the mod, and you can totally do that with a readme.txt or whatever you like. I know some mods have credits and stuff like that replacing the tool tips during the loading screen for their missions, you could try putting info in there since that guarantees anyone who plays the level is going to see it. And if the downloaders choose to respect your wishes, that's great, and I think most of the time they do. If they decide to do something else with the mod that goes against your wishes, then oh well. It may suck, but there's nothing you can do. If it's really killing you, find solace in the fact that someone felt that your mod/something in it was great enough that they wanted to make use of it on their own.

EDIT: sorry for the wall of text, my goodness I got started writing and just... kept writing
